Restaurants across the city are offering seasonal menus featuring fresh ingredients, thoughtful mains, and desserts to finish the meal. Whether you’re after a laid-back brunch or a more polished dinner, here’s a look at what’s on offer this year.

This list is not exhaustive and I update the information becomes available. I try to feature as much as I can but certainly this is not all that is out there. If your favorite restaurant is not on the list, I would recommend contacting them to see what they are offering.

Time & Place Kitchen + Bar at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown in Burnaby is offering a BBQ Smokehouse Platter as a Father’s Day special, available Thursday to Sunday throughout June. Designed to serve four, the platter is priced at $140 per group or $80 for 2 people (exclusive of taxes and gratuities) and brings together a variety of house-smoked and classic comfort favourites. It features hickory smoked Alberta beef ribs, T&P’s signature BBQ beef brisket, charred chorizo sausage, and cherry bourbon smoked pulled pork. On the side, you’ll find house corn bread, baked beans with bacon, baby potato and egg salad, dill pickles with pickled red onions, and house chips. This sharing-style platter offers a satisfying mix of smoky, savoury flavours perfect for celebrating Father’s Day with a group.

Oceans 999 Pan Pacific Vancouver at Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel is offering a waterfront brunch buffet for Father’s Day. Set against harbour views, the menu features a wide range of elevated options including brown butter braised shortribs, grilled flank steak tacos, Kuterra salmon, and a fresh seafood ice bar. Dessert stations include a donut wall and a chocolate fountain curated by Chef Hansel. Pricing is $106 for adults, $102 for seniors, and $53 for children aged 6 to 12. An 18% service charge and applicable taxes will be added. Reservations are recommended.

Mosaic Restaurant at Hyatt Regency Vancouver is offering a Father’s Day Dinner Buffet on Sunday, June 15 from 5 PM to 9:30 PM on the 2nd floor. Pricing is $85 for adults, $68 for seniors, and $45 for children aged 5 to 12. The buffet includes a carving station with prime rib and hickory-smoked porchetta, hot dishes like lamb barbacoa tacos, grilled prawns, and crab fritters, and cold items such as heirloom beet salad and Caesar salad. Dessert highlights include a made-to-order ice cream station and flambé options like banana foster and apple.

Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is offering a Father’s Day brunch featuring sweet and savoury favourites, a chef-attended carving station, and housemade desserts. Pricing is $95 for adults and $45 for children.

Fairmont Vancouver Airport is serving a Father’s Day afternoon BBQ tea. The $69 per adult experience includes a BBQ tower with dry-aged sliders, ribs, truffle mac and cheese, a Lot 40 Maple Old Fashioned cocktail, and self-parking. A $30 kid-friendly platter is also available. Minimum two adult guests.

Rosie’s BBQ & Smokehouse is offering a special Dad Means Everything Platter for Father’s Day, available via food trucks at Batch Plaza of Nations and The Parkside Brewery in Port Moody, as well as at the Nat Bailey Stadium concession during the C’s game. Priced at $149, the platter serves up to six and includes 4AM brisket, barbacoa, ribs, pulled pork, and housemade sides. Rosie’s is also featuring Beef Dino Ribs, each weighing approximately 2.5 lbs and sold by the pound. Quantities are limited, with pre-orders strongly recommended by calling 604-340-4461 before 5 PM on June 14. A small number of platters and ribs will be available first come, first served on Father’s Day.

Desi Indian Lounge in Vancouver is offering a $40 four-course prix-fixe brunch from 11 AM to 3 PM. The menu includes Makhani Egg Benny, Chettinad-style Soya Uthappam, Bombay-style Fried Chicken with Kanda Poha, and Rabri French Toast. Kids under 12 can enjoy a $15 menu with Makhani Mac & Cheese, chicken strips, fries, and a drink. Add-on drinks include beer for $5 and a Spicy Caesar for $9.

Railtown Catering in Vancouver is offering a Southern-style Father’s Day BBQ Feast for $199, designed to feed four to five people. The fully cooked package includes four proteins: 35-hour Texas-style beef brisket, applewood smoked pork shoulder, beer-brined chicken, and bratwurst sausages. Sides include corn on the cob, jalapeño cornbread, Carolina cole slaw, creamy potato salad, and a generous portion of Railtown’s house bourbon BBQ sauce. Orders placed before June 6 will include an 8-pack of Red Truck beer (lager, amber ale, or IPA) at no extra cost. Pickup is available on Sunday, June 15 from 11 AM to 4 PM at Railtown Cafe, 397 Railway Street. Delivery is available across the Lower Mainland for an added fee. Orders must be placed by 10 AM on Wednesday, June 11.

Fanny Bay Oyster Bar & Shellfish Market in Vancouver is offering retail seafood specials for take-home celebrations. Fresh mussels are priced at $6.50/lb or $30 for 5 lbs. A Seafood Boil Kit is available for $108 and includes crab, clams, mussels, scallops, spot prawns, and broth.

Lavantine in Vancouver is serving a $75 prix-fixe menu on June 15, featuring burrata with pistachio dukkah, grilled ahi tuna, Wagyu or lobster skewers, and desserts like fig fudge or baked labneh. A 28oz 63 Acres B.C. Porterhouse with jumbo prawns is available as a premium option for $250.

Bae Side in Vancouver is featuring the Garden Fresh G&T and Pan-Seared Salmon with Mushroom Ragù for Father’s Day. The dish is topped with a savoury mushroom sauce and served with fresh herbs.

Loam in North Vancouver is offering a limited-time Father’s Day special from June 13 to 15: Huevos Rancheros con Carne with refried beans, braised pulled beef, ranchero sauce, eggs, pico de gallo, and queso fresco on crispy corn tortillas.

Cardero’s in Vancouver is featuring slow-cooked BBQ ribs from June 13 to 15. The ribs are seasoned with a house-made rub and finished with a tangy glaze that includes molasses, Dijon mustard, and bourbon.

The Victor in Vancouver will serve a Grand Buffet Brunch from 10 AM to 2:30 PM for $90 per adult and $45 per child. Evening dinner features include Prime Rib, Porterhouse, and Tomahawk steaks. Drink options include a $48 Cognac flight and $19 Mai Tai, with a Cognac bacon-washed Caesar debuting.

Black+Blue in Vancouver is offering a BBQ at Home Kit for $195, available for pickup June 14 and 15. The kit serves four and includes ribeye, striploin, jerk chicken skewers, sausages, jumbo prawns, lamb chops, and sides. Upgrades include A5 Wagyu or Alberta Tomahawk. For dine-in on June 15, specials include a $145 tasting platter, $110 Rossini-style tenderloin, and $175 Surf & Turf.

C|Prime in Vancouver is serving a $80 12oz Prime Rib Dinner with rosemary mashed potatoes, glazed heirloom carrots, Wagyu Yorkshire pudding, beef jus, and horseradish crema. The full steak menu highlights Canadian and Australian cuts including tenderloin, striploin, porterhouse, and tomahawk.

Kobe Japanese Steakhouse in Vancouver is offering “The Shokunin” cocktail for $18 from June 13 to 15. It includes Japanese whisky, sake, yuzu, honey syrup, and bitters.

Glowbal in Vancouver is hosting a brunch buffet on June 15 starting at 9:45 AM. At $85 per adult and $35 per child, the spread includes an oyster bar, carving station, sushi and poke stations, pasta bar, classic brunch items, and a dessert station.

Riley’s in Vancouver is offering exclusive dinner features on June 15. Options include a 30oz Bone-In Cowboy Ribeye ($145), 20oz Canadian Prime Rib ($110), and a Whole Roasted Branzino ($95).

Trattoria locations are offering a $110 Platter for Two available for dine-in or takeout June 14 and 15. It includes 10oz Striploin, garlic butter prawns, 6oz Atlantic salmon, mushroom ravioli, risotto, and vegetables.

Italian Kitchen in Vancouver is serving a $155 sharing platter on June 15. The platter features a 32oz grilled ribeye, prawn and scallop skewer, fingerling potatoes, caprese salad, signature Brussels sprouts, and a choice of pasta. Add-ons include burrata, lobster oreganata, or black truffle. Finish with a tableside affogato.

Five Sails in Vancouver is offering a $135 three-course prix-fixe on June 15. Courses include truffled brioche, lobster bisque with crab croquette, charcoal-grilled Canadian tomahawk steak, and black truffle vanilla ice cream with olive oil sponge.

Fable Kitchen, Fable Diner, and Fable Diner and Bar are offering a $29.99 Prohibition Brunch on June 15. The set includes coffee or tea, a drink (FD Caesar, mimosa, juice, or beer), a savoury baked item, a choice of main (including bennies, toast, wrap, or all-day breakfast), and a sweet finish.

Temper Chocolate and Pastry in West Vancouver is offering chocolate cigars for $10.50 each.

Mon Paris Patisserie in Burnaby & Vancouver is offering a box of five dark chocolate rum ganache cigars for $23.

Things to Do

Fairmont Pacific Rim is featuring “The Brow Glow” wellness package. This includes an aromatherapy foot ritual and a facial with microcurrent, anti-aging serums, and collagen mask, followed by a lunch entrée and beverage. Available for $419 on weekdays and $449 on weekends.

Cascade Fishing Adventures in Chilliwack is offering guided sturgeon fishing trips on the Fraser River for Father’s Day. Trips include high-quality gear and the opportunity to catch fish ranging from 100 to 900 pounds.
