Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your sweetie than with some sweet eats. I have been wanting to try Crackle Crème for a while since seeing images of this cafe’s artisan crème brûlée and authentic Belgian liège waffles on Instagram.
Everything at Crackle Crème is made in house. The crème brûlées are $5 and the Belgian liège waffles are $3.75.
The cafe is small and has an industrial feel to its decor. The seating indoors is at counters along the wall and window. There is a small seating area outside the cafe as well. There are no large dining tables for seating.
The special for Valentine’s Day was white chocolate cheesecake raspberry crème brûlée, which definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. It was neat to watch the owner torch the crème brûlée right in front of me.
We also had the classic vanilla liège waffle with matcha ice cream. It was caramelized, crispy on the outside, and totally delicious! The matcha ice cream was not very sweet and went well with the waffle as a contrast.
It was a unique dessert experience at Crackle Crème, and I’ll be sure to let friends know of this cute little dessert cafe serving crème brûlée and authentic Belgian liège waffles. A great place for dates or for some feel-good desserts!
