There is no shortage of dining experiences at Tulalip Resort Casino with 8 restaurants on site.  Cedars Cafe is open 24/7 and serves classic dishes from coffee shop favorites and hearty breakfasts served until 2PM to grand half-pound monster burgers, as well as slow roasted prime rib and seasonal salads.

PACIFIC NORTHWEST BENEDICT

Two poached eggs with Dungeness crab, baby spinach leaves, hollandaise sauce on a toasted English muffin, and served with hash browns or country potatoes with bell peppers and onions.

ARLINGTON SKILLET

Scrambled eggs with layers of breakfast sausage, three cheeses, mushrooms, peppers, onions, and baby spinach leaves baked with country potatoes with bell peppers and onions.

CRUSTED FRENCH TOAST

This unique French Toast is where breakast and dessert gets blurred!  Two slices of house baked thick cut cinnamon brioche bread crusted with Frosted Flakes and served with cranberry cream cheese.

On my recent getaway to Tulalip Resort Casino, I had the opportunity to experience a variety of activities that the resort has to offer.  After attending a concert by WAR in Tulalip’s Orca ballroom, we proceeded for late night bites at Blazing Paddles, the on-site pizzeria located on the casino floor.

At Blazing Paddles, pizzas are made-to-order and they’re fast, fresh, delicious so that patrons can be back in the game in no time.  They offer a variety of signature pizzas but you can also create your own with limitless toppings.  In fact, they offer 50 choices of toppings for your pizza.  All pizzas are priced affordably around $10.  They can also be crafted as a calzone.  You can also add a cocktail, salad or dessert to round out the meal.

Their pizzas are so good that customers have been known to drive across town just to get them.  I also heard that on a very busy day they make serve upwards of 600 pizzas which even beats nearby pizza chain locations.

We tried the Spicy Italian Stallion (spicy Italian sausage, spicy house sauce, mozzarella, provolone, sweet and spicy mama lil’s peppers, fresh basil, shaved parmesan) and The Hungry Roman (roma tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, pesto oil, shaved parmesan, fresh black pepper, coarse salt) with chicken.  Thin, chewy and very crispy on the edges.  When you bit into it, you can hear that amazing crunchy sound.  I thought that the sauce to topping to dough ratios were on point, making perfect pizzas.

Blazing Paddles certainly hits the spot with their cheesy pizzas.  On my next visit, I’ll certainly be back for more.

On my recent getaway to Tulalip Resort Casino, I had the opportunity to indulge in various activities offered by the resort.  Aside from being a gaming and culinary destination, Tulalip hosts a variety of entertainers and acts.

During my stay, I attended a concert by LA funk/soul ensemble WAR who is best known for their 70s hits including Low Rider and The Cisco Kid.  The band led by original lead singer and keyboardist Lonnie Jordan played to a very enthusiastic crowd inside the Orca Ballroom.  Here are a few photos from the show.

On my recent getaway to Tulalip Resort Casino, I had the opportunity to try out various dining establishments at the resort.  The first venue I visited was the Destinations Lounge located in the hotel lobby – a great place to meet up with friends, enjoy some appies and sip on some cocktails.  The lounge boasts a mid-century modern feel, with sleek leather furniture, a new cozy fireplace, and more.

At the lounge, we were treated to a few drinks and appetizers.  There was the “BBB – Bourbon, Brew & Bubbles” featuring  Wildwood Spirits “The Dark Door Bourbon”, Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier, and 2009 Domaine Huet Vouvray Pétillant Réserve Brut.

The drinks were paired with a few snacks including the Savoury Cheesecake (four cheeses served with vegetables and grilled baguette) as well as a Trio of Tapenade (caramelized onion and gorgonzola spread, olive tapenade, sun-dried tomato tapenade, and grilled crostini).

If you’re looking for an exciting but also restful getaway in the Pacific Northwest, Tulalip Resort Casino might just be the place.  This past month, I was invited for a weekend getaway at this AAA-Four-Diamond-rated luxury resort casino, just 30 minutes north of Seattle, Washington.  My weekend was packed with activities to learn more what Tulalip Resort has to offer.  To start, here’s a look at my comfortable stay in their newly renovated deluxe King Room.

The well-appointed and attractive guest room features styling that pays homage to the rich diverse history and culture of the Tulalip Tribes.  The room measures an expansive 500 square feet which is among the most spacious hotel rooms in the Pacific Northwest.

The bathroom area was also warm and inviting with luxurious features like designer glass tiles, polished stone counters, plush guest robes, and vessel style sinks.  My favourite part was the spa-like shower with three adjustable body sprays; I could be in there forever!

Our room had a separate sitting area, deluxe workspace, and 55” 4K OLED Smart TV.  Being newly renovated in 2016, the room had many tech-friendly features including more than enough USB power outlets.  I also appreciated that the complimentary Wi-Fi was speedy.
