Casereccio Food is a new homemade fresh pasta delivery service based in Kitsilano.
On their menu, you’ll also find homemade sauces, and ready-to-eat dishes such as lasagna and meatballs.
The service was started by two chefs who have worked at a well-known Italian restaurant in Metro Vancouver. The two decided to branch off on their own and offer homemade, Italian comfort food which can be enjoyed at home.
Casereccio sent me over a few of their products to try:
- Fresh GnocchiSan Marzano Tomato Sauce
- Fresh Tagliatelle
- Classic Lasagna (Bolognese ragu sauce, bechamel sauce, mozzarella and parmesan)
The fresh pasta with the light, tomato sauce were delicious and I enjoyed the hearty lasagna.
Casereccio is currently operated as an at-home business but they are looking to operate in a commercial kitchen soon. Check them out at www.caserecciofood.com.
