Campari Group Canada is urging Canadians to show their support for local bartenders today with the launch of their newest campaign, #CampariStirCrazy.
Campari Group Canada, in collaboration with Bartender Atlas, collaborated with 140+ bartenders throughout Canada to produce creative cocktail recipes, which are now available for purchase at bartenderatlas.com/campari-stir-crazy/.
This is the second #CampariStirCrazy campaign, which was developed in collaboration with Campari Group Canada and Bartender Atlas with the objective of recognizing the tremendous skill of Canadian bartenders and giving back to those who have been laid off or underemployed as a result of epidemic closures.
The campaign’s objective is to raise awareness of Canadian mixology on a national level and to give a forum for bartenders to demonstrate their abilities and innovation. The campaign drew over 140 bartenders from coast to coast, including the following:
- Rachel Cohen, bartender at Toronto’s Chef’s Hall
- Olivia Povarchook, bartender at Vancouver’s Tocador
- Skye Plowman, bartender at Yellowknife’s Trapline Lounge
The initiative required bartenders to produce an original cocktail mix utilising a spirit from Campari’s vast portfolio, which includes Forty Creek, Grand Marnier, Appleton Estate, Wild Turkey, SKYY, Wray & Nephew, and Campari.
All recipes are now available for purchase, with 100% of the revenues benefiting the bartenders.
Along with the initial $40,000 investment in the participating bartenders, Campari Group Canada has committed to matching the entire revenues from all cocktail recipe purchases.
This matching gift will be distributed evenly among the 140+ participating bartenders, highlighting the need of growing the skilled bartender community even further.
Canadians may support their neighbourhood bartenders by buying one or more cocktail recipes at bartenderatlas.com/shop/. Individual recipes cost $5, $10, or $15, while the complete portfolio of 140+ recipes is priced at $25, $50, or $100.
