The annual Cactus Club Cafe Sweet Dreams Dessert campaign is happening right now. From April 4 – 10, all Cactus restaurants across Canada will donate $1 from every dessert sold to Make-A-Wish® Foundation. This year, funds raised will help send 13 year old Morgan to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida with her family.
I had the opportunity to try out some of the tantalizing desserts on Cactus Club Cafe’s Dessert Menu. Check out a quick video of the ones I indulged in:

A favourite at Cactus Club Cafe is the Key Lime Pie made with freshly squeezed key limes, graham cracker crust and topped with hand whipped cream. It is wonderfully sweet with the right amount of tartness.
Another solid choice is the silky, smooth White Chocolate Cheesecake made with chocolate cookie crust, raspberry compote and topped hand whipped cream. Indulgent comfort in every bite.
Chocolate lovers will enjoy the Chocolate Lava Cake – a molten dark chocolate cake with raspberry coulis and Tahitian vanilla ice cream. The centre was oozing with chocolate and certainly didn’t disappoint.
My favourite of the three we tried was the Key Lime Pie! Other desserts available include the Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch bar and Caramel Chocolate Mousse.
