McDonald’s has collaborated with global sensation Kpop group, BTS, with a one-of-a-kind BTS McDonald’s menu.

What’s in the BTS Mcdonalds meal?

The BTS Meal includes

• 10-piece Chicken McNuggets
• Medium World Famous Fries
• Medium soft drink
• Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by popular recipes from McDonald’s South Korea

Sweet Chili and Cajun sauces

The two new dipping sauces are the band’s pick as the perfect accompaniment to Chicken McNuggets.

The Cajun has a strong hot mustard flavour that’s almost as hot as the cayenne and southern spices that round out this sauce.

The Sweet Chili Sauce on the other hand is slightly sweet and sour with just a touch of heat that finishes strong in the end, getting its flavour from tomato, dried chili and garlic.

Since 2013, BTS has topped music charts and brought people together from all over the world through their music and positive messages.

This one-of-a-kind menu “tour” is available globally in nearly 50 countries when you can enjoy the band’s signature order at participating restaurants.

Where can I get the BTS McDonald’s meal?

Canadian guests can order the BTS Meal in-restaurant, through contactless mobile order and pay in the McDonald’s App, at the Drive Thru or via McDelivery until June 21.

BTS McDonald’s merch

On May 26 at 7 PM EST, BTS McDonald’s merch line will be available on the Weverse Shop app.

This head-to-toe collection is inspired by some of the craveable, hand-picked menu items from the BTS Meal including hoodies, purple bathrobes, socks and sandals.

Whether it’s the McDonald’s fry box logo with seven fries for each BTS member, or the marriage of BTS purple with McDonald’s red and gold, these designs are the perfect representation of an iconic collaboration between two fan-favorite brands.

And to get it, you must download the Weverse Shop app and create an account as you prepare for the merch to drop.

BTS McDonald’s Canada Meal Review

Disclosure: McDonald’s Canada sent me a BTS meal to try. These are my original photos below.

The Canadian version of the BTS meal comes with a branded cup and McNuggets box in both English and French languages.

The Cajun sauce was my favourite and tasted like honey mustard but spicier.

The Sweet Chili sauce tasted like Thai dipping sauce but spicier as well.

Overall, the BTS meal seemed fun and the branding certainly made it very visually appealing. The sauces were tasty and worthy of trying.
