Air Canada Offers Free Beer, Wine and Snacks on All Flights

Air Canada has expanded their Economy service with complimentary beer, wine, and Canadian-made snacks available on every flight, including routes to Mexico and the Caribbean. The new offering, launched in September, marks a significant upgrade to the onboard experience for leisure and business travellers alike.

Morning passengers now receive a MadeGood Mornings Cinnamon Bun Soft Baked Oat Bar, joining favourites such as TWIGZ Craft Pretzels and Leclerc Celebration Cookies. On flights departing Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport after 10:30 a.m., customers can enjoy a Greenhouse Ginger Defence Wellness Shot, made with organic, plant-based ingredients from the Toronto-based brand Greenhouse.

The Air Canada Bistro menu has also expanded to feature more Canadian products, including Summer Fresh Hummus & Crackers, Quaker Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal Cups, and new TWIGZ Sour Cream & Onion Pretzels alongside Smarties.

Travellers looking for a non-alcoholic option can now enjoy Heineken 0.0, making Air Canada the only North American airline to serve non-alcoholic beer onboard. This addition complements the complimentary beer and wine service now standard on all flights.

According to Scott O’Leary, Vice President of Loyalty & Product, the refreshed menu reflects Air Canada’s focus on enhancing comfort, convenience, and quality for every passenger. The upgrade aligns with other recent improvements, including a redesigned mobile app, expanded in-flight entertainment, new and refurbished lounges, and fast, free Wi-Fi sponsored by Bell for Aeroplan Members on North American and Sun destination routes.

With these changes, Air Canada continues to showcase Canadian hospitality in the sky, offering thoughtful touches that elevate the Economy experience from takeoff to landing.
