Jokim Kitchen is a family-owned and operated Vietnamese restaurant which opened up in New Westminster in early 2023.
On the menu are share plates (like Mango Prawn Salad and Summer Salad Roll); pho (like House Special pho and Hue Beef noodle); mains (like Grilled Pork Chop Rice and Shaking Beef & Fries); vegetarian dishes (like Fried lemon grass tofu and Saigon curry on rice); grilled dishes (like sate prawn skewer & grilled bulgogi beef short rib) and more.
The well-appointed interior features a mix of dining tables and a wall for selfies.

House special pho
Rare AAA beef sirloin and brisket, tripe, beef balls, rice noodles and 24 hours simmered beef bone broth
Sizzling beef steak
Sizzling plate of beef striploin steak, egg, onion, Vietnamese ham and pate served hot-off-the-stove with 2 slides of garlic butter bread
Grilled pork chop and chicken rice
One piece of tender and juicy pork chop with flavorful marinade with one piece of chicken thigh marinated in Vietnamese spices. Served with rice, romaine lettuce, pickle, tomato, cucumber and fish sauce.
Lychee and coconut jelly with shaved almonds
We enjoyed all the dishes we tried which felt nicely, home-style but well-executed. The pho was hearty and had a flavourful broth. The grilled pork chop and chicken were tender and juicy. The lychee coconut jelly was a nice finish to a nice meal at Jokim Kichen.
