Valentine’s Day NYC 2024 Restaurant & Hotel Offerings

This list is not exhaustive and I update the information becomes available. I try to feature as much as I can but certainly this is not all that is out there. If your favorite restaurant is not on the list, I would recommend contacting them to see what they are offering.

Dowling’s at The Carlyle

Available on Friday 2/9, Saturday 2/10, and Wednesday 2/14, Dowling’s will be offering both prix fixe and a la carte menu offerings, with the prix fixe menu starting at $145 pp and wine pairing options.

Park Ave Kitchen by David Burke

In keeping with its chicly stunning aesthetic, the Valentine’s Day menu at Park Ave Kitchen has a wide ranging flair, with eight appetizers and 10 entrée choices on the $125 menu.  Should dinner a deux at home hold more appeal than dining out, Valentine’s Day celebrants can add a little David Burke style to the meal with a luscious heart-shaped chocolate souffle cake from his Dixie Lee Bakery, that arrives as a anyone-can-make-it kit in a bright red heart-shaped tin.  Priced at $20 the Valentine’s Can-o-’Cake simply requires the addition of eggs and butter and easy instructions to produce a restaurant-quality cake.

Sabai Thai

Celebrate the spirit of love and happiness this Valentine’s Day at Sabai Thai, a Central Thai-inspired restaurant nestled in the heart of the Flatiron District. True to its name, Sabai Thai, which translates to “Happy Thai”, will be offering a special menu with seven unique items that are only available on Valentine’s Day, along with their regular a la carte menu.

David Burke Tavern

Occupying two floors of a stately Manhattan townhouse with an olde New York clubby ambiance, David Burke Tavern is offering a three-course, plus amuse for $135. The Valentine’s Day menu at David Burke Tavern will be available from 4 to 10 p.m.   

STATE Grill and Bar

Chef Morgan Jarrett of the landmark’s flagship restaurant STATE Grill and Bar has curated a three-course prix fixe menu with a complimentary champagne toast and optional wine pairings. Influenced by her Southern roots and colorways of the holiday, offerings range from Cornbread & Caviar to Pink Caesar Salad, and Porcini Crusted Filet Mignon to Lobster Newburg Potpie. Each of the four desserts is decadent; particularly the Amore Mousse with pistachio mousse, red chocolate glaze, and samboise.

Love birds can also enjoy a Sleepless in New York cocktail served in an Empire State Building-stemmed martini glass composed of coconut rum, Nocello walnut liqueur, and white chocolate liqueur.

Lincoln Ristorante

Additionally, STATE Grill and Bar’s sister restaurant, Lincoln Ristorante, invites patrons to indulge in an exquisite four-course Valentine’s menu just a stone’s throw from the Lincoln Arts Performing Center. Begin the evening with a selection of Antipasti such as Hamachi Crudo with blood orange and juniper aioli. Primi and Secondi courses include Squid Ink Strozzapreti and Lobster Risotto. Conclude the evening with Dolci delights like Baci, a chocolate hazelnut mousse. 

Rioja

This Valentine’s Day, escape the ordinary and embark on a culinary adventure to Spain’s heartland with Mercado Little Spain‘s exclusive Explore Rioja: Valentine’s Day Wine Dinner. Tickets are $175 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity.

Immerse yourselves in the hidden gem of Sierra de la Demanda, where sun-kissed grapes cling to steep, terraced vineyards, hand-harvested with meticulous care. Each sip promises an explosion of flavor, boasting greater balance and focus thanks to the region’s unique climate and topography.

Chef Nicolas Lopez has crafted a six-course feast fit for royalty, beginning with the delicate Oysters con Escabeche and culminating in the melt-in-your-mouth signature Burnt Basque cheesecake. The star of the show, however, is the Cochinillo, a slow-roasted suckling pig that embodies the essence of Spanish culinary tradition.

Alberto Orte, the acclaimed winemaker from Olé & Obrigado, will personally guide you through a curated selection of balanced, long-lived wines, each meticulously paired to enhance the flavors of the meal. The Lavaux, Swiss Wine and Fondue Bar

The Lavaux, Swiss Wine and Fondue Bar is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a special prix-fixe menu for $130 per person.

Casa Limone

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a multi-course meal at Casa Limone.  3-course menu is priced at $75 per person.

Forsythia

Forsythia is hosting a Valentine’s Day pasta making class and a special tasting after.  Priced at $275 per person.

Casa Bond

Offering creative cocktails, exceptional service, and a vibrant atmosphere, Casa Bond is the ideal destination for couples seeking to enjoy tropical, Tulum-inspired vibes and refined Mexican fare this Valentine’s Day. The restaurant will offer a specially curated five-course menu, priced at $150 per person.

Hortus NYC

Celebrate love in the enchanting atmosphere of Hortus NYC, where one can indulge in a romantic dining experience. Choose to be surrounded by the lush greenery of their hidden garden or opt for the intimate mood lighting in the comfortable seating booths of the second floor dining room, offering views of 5th Avenue through its floor-to-ceiling windows. From February 14th to the 18th, lovers of Asian cuisine can enjoy a 4-course prix-fixe menu priced at $65 per person.

Le Bilboquet

Le Bilboquet is offering a Valentine’s Day prix-fixe menu and cocktails.  The prix-fixe menu is priced at $150 per person.  A la carte menu will not be available. 

The Standard, East Village

Available for one day only The Standard, East Village will introduce an aphrodisiac-inspired menu in our holiday pop-up space Partridge. This Valentine’s Day treat is a partnership born out of the desire to elevate through a mutual love for mushrooms, Alice Mushrooms being a female co-founded company created by a former pharmaceutical executive who spent years studying mushrooms and a food scholar and wellness authority while The Standard, East Village continues to champion its longstanding relationship with Smallhold resulting in the world’s first hotel with an in-house mushroom farm. The public are invited to experience the 3-course $70/pp prix fixe menu that comes with a complimentary welcome drink and take-home Alice Mushrooms chocolate gift. The menu itself of course features aphrodisiac forward foods like Oysters as an option for a starter, a creamy Mushroom Risotto starring mushrooms from our in-house farm for a main, and two deserts modified to include Alice Mushroom’s Happy Ending chocolate which is the brand’s latest adaptogenic chocolate formulated to arouse the senses packed with nine supplements for arousal and pleasure.

Ladybird

Reserve at Ladybird for whimsical cocktails and flowing natural wines sit alongside a deeply satisfying multi-course Valentine’s Day menu.  Priced at $75 per person for the 5-course menu.

Restaurant Yuu

Enjoy a theatrical dining experience at Restaurant Yuu, which was recently awarded a Michelin Star. It is located the fashionable Little Tokyo District of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, where Executive Chef-Owner, Yuu Shimano, has created a 15-course French omakase tasting menu, showcased from an open kitchen.

Guests are then escorted to an intimate part of the restaurant called the salon to indulge in Executive Pastry Chef Masaki Takahashi’s beautifully designed mignardise creations that are accompanied by tea, coffee, or digestifs, while taking in the sounds of smooth jazz and soft classical. Seating times are at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. with 18 guests each. The Valentine’s Day menu is $350 per person. Reservations are available on Tock

Chef Guo

Embark on regal culinary journey with your loved one this Valentine’s Day at Chef Guo. Experience unapparelled Chinese fine dining accompanied by white glove service in an intimate imperial garden adorned with Chinese artifacts, all set beneath the branches of a faux ginkgo tree. On the romantic day, the restaurant will offer the Chef Guo Signature Experience, a 19-course menu, for $518 per person. 

Antica Pesa

Recently named a Top 50 Italian Restaurant in the world, iconic Roman mainstay Antica Pesa will set the scene for a night of Italian romance with a special 4-course menu as well as live jazz during the evening. At $140 per person, guests will begin with an amuse bouche, followed by a choice of Antipasto, Pasta or Secondo, a pre-dessert bite, and a choice of Dolce. The menu will feature their beloved Roman classic dishes like Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe and Rigatoni All’Amatriciana, and holiday specials for each course including Orata Marinata Con Frutti Esotici, Grapefruit and passion fruit-marinated sea bream with tomato, red onion, chives, radish and fresh herbs, Risotto Con Cimi di Rapa, Gamberi e Limone, Risotto with lemon-marinated prawns, turnip greens, shallots, balsamic vinegar, and Tartelletta Con Frutti Rossi e Lime, Crispy tartlet filled with tonka bean custard, mixed berries, mint and lime.

Baccarat Hotel New York

Baccarat Hotel New York is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a romantic 4-course dinner menu priced at $375 per person. This experience is available from February 14 to 17.  Offerings include:

They are also offering a celebration afternoon tea priced at $195 per person.  Reservations are available February 14 to 17 from 12 pm to 4 pm.

Kissaki

Kissaki Omakase Bowery is serving a 16-course Omakase menu to celebrate Valentine’s Day.  This special menu will feature Chef’s Selection of 4 appetizers, 10 specialty Nigiri, a handroll, and a dessert, and it is priced at $185 per person and it is available from February 14 to 18.

Kissaki UWS is also serving the same 16-course Omakase menu for $185 per person.  It is only available on Valentine’s Day.

Osteria 57

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in the intimate setting of Osteria 57 with a 3-or-4-course menu.  Prices start at $110 per person.

Cadence New York

Cadence is offering a 5-course meal on Valentine’s Day for $75 per person.

Caviar Russe

Cavia Russe is serving a Valentine’s Day tasting menu for $1000 per person. They are also offering reservations at their bar for $500 per person.

Restaurant Yuu

Restaurant Yuu is celebrating Valentine’s Day on February 13 and 14 with a counter menu priced at $350 per person.

Reverence

Reverence is hosting their Annual Anti-Valentine’s Tasting on Valentine’s Day.  The menu offers a visceral tasting of dishes inspired by the insanity, longing and passion of this physical and mental state.  Priced at $225 per person, add-ons are available.

Café Boulud

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Café Boulud with a festive three-course feast featuring elevated interpretations of your favorite dishes.  Priced at $145 per person.

Levant on Smith | Modern French Cuisine

Levant on Smith is serving a special prix-fixe menu with a complimentary glass of wine, cocktail, beer, or mocktail on Valentine’s Day.  Priced at $80 per person.

Sushi Lab

Sushi Lab (East Village) is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a 16-course omakase menu for $125 per person.  Reservations are available for dining table and counter seating. Reservations are open for both the dining room and sushi counter with seatings available at 4:30 pm, 6 pm, 7:30 pm, and 9 pm.

Le Pavillon

Le Pavillon is serving a 5-course menu on Valentine’s Day for $245 per person.  Reservations are available for the dining room, bar, and lounge.

The Marshal

The Marshal is offering a 3-course menu on Valentine’s Day NYC 2024 featuring farm-to-table dishes.  Priced at $75 per person.

Atlantic Grill

Atlantic Grill is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a 3-course menu priced at $125 per person.

Jack & Charlie’s 118

Jack & Charlie’s 118 is taking reservations for Valentine’s Day.  A la carte menu will be available.

Sake No Hana

Sake No Hana is a modern Japanese restaurant, set on the Bowery in the Lower East Side. This elevated dining destination offers a unique culinary experience with a menu rooted in the purity of Japanese cuisine, paired with playful Western techniques and tastes.

Avra Rockefeller Center

Avra Rockefeller Center famed for offering a daily-changing variety of fresh fish that customers can order by the pound, and a robust wine/spirits program. Conveniently located in Rockefeller Center, it’s the perfect spot to grab a pre or post-Broadway meal for the perfect date night.

SARTIANO’S

SARTIANO’S located below the iconic Mercer Hotel, this chef-driven restaurant offers a modern touch to traditional Italian fare. Culinary Director, 3X James Beard Award Winner Chef Alfred Portale oversees the blend of authentic Italian dishes and contemporary American classics, executed by Executive Chef Chris Lewnes.

Amali

Amali is offering an exquisite Valentine’s Day experience featuring a Champagne Flight as an optional add-on, presenting a 2oz tasting of three unique expressions of Champagne, including Champagne Jacquart ‘Brut Mosaique,’ Champagne de Villepin ‘Blanc de Noirs,’ and Veuve Clicquot ‘Brut Rosé’ for $45. 

The Prix Fixe menu, priced at $125 per person, is exclusively available on February 14th and serves as the sole offering, with all items later available as a la carte specials in the days and the weekend following the holiday. 

The a la Carte additions include delectable options such as a Half Dozen Beau Soleil Oysters with Horseradish Apple Mignonette for $24. The diverse menu features enticing courses like Tuna Carpaccio, Winter Citrus, Hiromasa, Stracciatella, and an array of pasta choices. For the main course, indulge in options like Roast Chicken, Filet Mignon, Red Snapper, Colorado Lamb Chops, or enhance the experience with a decadent A4 Australian Wagyu Filet Mignon for an additional $30. Concluding the meal on a sweet note, enjoy complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries alongside tempting desserts such as Truffle Sundae, Chocolate Mousse with Morello Cherry and Luxardo Cream, Basque Cheesecake, and Creme Brûlée with Tahitian Vanilla. 

Nerai

Nerai is offering a 4-course prix fixe menu at $140 per person. On the menu, you’ll find fresh crudo, warm king crab with citrus and fennel, fresh squid ink pasta with Maine lobster, seared scallops in a red pepper-paprika sauce, and a 28-day dry-aged New York Strip, to name a few.

Fornino

Fornino in Greenpoint (only) will celebrate lovebirds between February 10th – 14th (minus Monday when they’re closed), with a special Valentine’s Day Pizza Love Kit. The kit is priced at $95 and includes an Imported Cheese and Fruit Plate, a Large Salad, Two Heart shaped Pizzas, Tiramisu, Chocolates, Strawberries and a bottle of red, white or bubbly.

hakubai

hakubai is offering a Valentine’s Day tasting menu featuring the following specials alongside their signature dishes. Priced at $225 per person.

  • Decadent Chocolate Rose: Handcrafted by Chocolatier & Pastry Chef Mariko Hosokawa, this stunning rose is a beautiful and delicious symbol of love.
  • Warm & Boozy Comfort: Indulge in a cup of steaming hot chocolate infused with rich Japanese whisky (Mars Distillery Tsunuki 2023 Edition) – perfect for setting the mood.
  • Sweet Take-Home Treat: Surprise your loved one with a special two-piece heart-shaped bonbon set, presented in a charming ornamental box.

Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi

Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi is offering a 6-course prix-fixe menu for $200 per person, or with wine pairing for $250 per person. Highlights include:

  • Plantain Butter & Jerk Foie Mousse: A decadent and unexpected start to the meal.
  • Hamachi Escovitch: Fresh and zingy, with a delightful play of textures.
  • Corn Porridge with Butter Poached Crab & Osetra Caviar: A luxurious and comforting dish.
  • Egusi Dumplings with Jonah Crab & Nigerian Red Stew: A taste of West African comfort food with a modern twist.

Somewhere Nowhere

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Somewhere Nowhere with a special 4-course menu and romantic views of the city skyline! Start with a comforting Chicken Noodle Soup featuring chicken bone broth, miso ricotta stuffed tortellini, and scallion. For the second course, choose between Burrata with toasted ciabatta, Gochujang, olive oil, and smoked sea salt; Wintered Greens with candied pecans, manchego, and apple; or Schezuan Powdered Calamari with spiced tomato sauce and chive. The third course offers options like Pan Roasted Duck Breast with curried lentils, labne, and pomegranate; a salmon dish from our normal menu; or Roasted Chicken with celeriac mash, garlic confit, lotus root chips, and braised mustard greens plus dessert. Couples can enjoy the lovely ambiance and live music of the Jazz Experience ($85), the sweeping views of the Rooftop Enclosure Experience ($125), or the winter glamour of the Igloo Experience ($200), with perks like shared dessert for enclosure and lounge guests or the exclusive S’mores for igloo dwellers. Reservations, accompanied by a complimentary rose and chocolates, can be made for seating at 5pm, 7:15pm, and 9:30pm by visiting OpenTable. 

Haven Rooftop

Celebrate a memorable Valentine’s Day prix fixe dinner at Haven Rooftop, situated atop the Sanctuary Hotel at 132 W. 47th Street in Midtown! Indulge in a special $115 prix fixe menu, carefully curated for every palette. The dining experience will be complemented by live music, and a romantic atmosphere during three intimate seatings at 5pm, 7pm, and 9pm.  Diners will be treated to stunning views above the city, delectable food, and a serene evening.

Loulou Petite Bistro & Speakeasy

Loulou Petite Bistro & Speakeasy in Chelsea is serving up the prettiest cocktail for Valentine’s Day- The Valentini. The gorgeous French bistro which has heated outdoor seating and cozy indoor dining is serving this cocktail in a heart-shaped glass and includes muddled raspberries, mint, Grey Goose Vodka, and is topped with a generous splash of Prosecco. Romance is infused into all of Loulou’s cocktails as well as in the air.

Carnegie Diner & Cafe 

Carnegie Diner & Cafe is gearing up to sweeten Valentine’s Day for visitors with a special holiday themed cupcake and milkshake available at both their Central Park (205 W 57th St) and vibrant Times Square District (828 8th Ave) locations. Starting February 1st through February 14th, they’re adding an extra touch of love with special Valentine’s Day cupcakes and a huge cherry flavored Valentines’ Milkshake! The shake arrives in a sprinkle bedazzled glass, topped with fluffy whipped cream and a cherry, perfect to split! The cupcakes will be priced at just $4.95 each or $25 for a delightful set of 6, fit to gift or take home!

1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

Join The Osprey this Valentine’s Day for a romantic farm-to-table tasting menu curated by Chef Dan Churchill. Enjoy a live vinyl DJ set as you dine with loved ones. (A la carte menu also available)
