Valentine’s Day NYC 2022: Restaurant Special Menus

Aquavit

The two-Michelin star Scandinavian restaurant Aquavit is celebrating Valentine’s Day with special menus on Monday, February 14th.

For those seeking the ultimate experience, Chef Emma Bengtsson is preparing a special six-course tasting menu for $325 per person with an optional wine pairing for $225 in the main dining room. The tasting menu includes King Crab with sunchoke, Duck with truffles, and Chocolate with pomegranate.

In their chic bar and lounge space, Chef Emma is offering a three-course prix-fixe menu for $165 per person with an optional $125 wine pairing. The choices include Wagyu Tartare, Nordic Shrimp, and Vanilla Bavarois for dessert.

For those not looking for a full dinner experience, Aquavit is also offering an alluring package with half a bottle of Champagne, Oysters, and Ossetra Caviar at the bar for $325 (for two).

Aquavit is the perfect place for couples who share their love for both food and wine to celebrate, reservations can be made via tock.

Carmine’s

For Valentine’s weekend, Carmine’s is offering an Amore For Two to-go special, with Garlic Bread, Penne Alla Vodka, Chicken Parmigiana, and a Chocolate Torte for $105. Dine-in specials include Stuffed Salmon, Roasted Beef Tenderloin, and Spaghetti Carbonara.  The to-go special is available Friday through Monday, orders and reservations can be placed online at carminesnyc.com.

Dagon

Marking one year since they opened the doors to their UWS locale, Chef-Partner Ari Bokovza created an indulgent, delicious five-course tasting menu (which can also be enjoyed a la carte) at $105 per person for the upcoming holiday of love. Options begin with a Salt Baked Malpeque Oyster with crispy merguez and preserved lemon bearnaise ($15), Diver Scallop Crudo, ‘ocean’ gelee, green apple, and harissa essence ($23), then Roasted Garlic Gnocchi with green harissa, tomato jam, and trumpet royale ($21), a Schug Crusted Rack Of Lamb, roasted beets, horseradish yogurt ($55), and the final touch – a Pomegranate Sundae made with labneh ice cream, candied pistachio, and pomegranate caramel ($15). With options like these, Dagon won’t be breaking hearts this Valentine’s Day. La dolce vita, Tel Aviv style!

La Churreria

Looking for a treat as sweet as your partner? Celebrate the holiday by indulging in decadent Valentine’s Day-themed desserts with your sweetheart. Starting February 1st and available throughout the month, La Churreria is offering Heart Shaped Churros and Churro Lollipops starting at $4. Melt your heart with Churro Ice Cream Sundaes, served with churro bites, strawberry sauce, custard cream, fresh strawberries, ice cream (of your choice), whipped cream, and topped with a heart-shaped churro at $9. Whether couples prefer to sit down at this cozy Spanish spot or take desserts to go, these adorable specials are sure to be the highlight of any date.

Lucciola

If there’s any place sure to impress a Valentine’s date, Lucciola is definitely it. Located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Lucciola’s intimate interior might as well be from a scene out of a movie with its romantic dim lighting, an old piano in the corner, and a wall filled with the finest bottles of Italian red wine. For Valentine’s Day, they are offering a three-course prix-fixe menu at $149 per person featuring first-course options like Spaghetti With Hokkaido Sea Urchin with churned butter or Tagliatelle Wagyu Filet with black truffle and Oregon foraged mushroom, second courses including Wagyu Butcher Steak or Scallops and Hokkaido Sea Urchin with potage brodetto, and for dessert the Wild Alpine Strawberry Tartelette. Marathi

If couples are in the mood for a Mediterranean and cozy feel this Valentine’s Day, Tribeca’s Greek Bistro Marathi is the perfect spot. This lofty restaurant will transport you to a romantic island for a night, with a three-course prix-fixe dinner offered on Valentine’s Day weekend from Friday through Monday, at $55 or $90 with beverage pairing per person. The menu includes Chef Nicholas Poulmentis’ signature dishes such as Branzino Ceviche paired with Tsikoudia Pear Mojito as an amuse-bouche, followed by a Baby Kale Salad paired with Sigalas Cyclades Assyrtiko Blend, and Lobster Ravioli A La Creme, paired with Vin Does Potes Skin Contact Sauvignon Blanc Blend. Save room for dessert; the Golden Leaf, a chocolate mousse montè, with a white chocolate heart and a 4c gold leaf is not to be missed. Reservations can be made via Resy.

Market Table

For those that want to keep their Valentine’s Day date light (literally and figuratively) with market-sourced, seasonally driven plates, Market Table is the spot. Located at Carmine and Bedford Streets, Market Table’s team created a holiday menu for lovebirds featuring three courses of choices: firsts include Salmon Sashimi, Crispy Rock Shrimp Salad, and Butternut Carpaccio, seconds offered are a Hudson Valley Duck Breast, NY Strip, and Grilled Arctic Char, and desserts to highlight include the Lemon Meringue Tart, and S’more Chocolate Mousse. Portale

For a Valentine’s night that combines exquisite Italian food with a sophisticated vibe, Portale, the eponymous restaurant of Chef Alfred Portale, is the place to ‘wow’ your date. The restaurant offers a four-course dinner menu at $115 per person with supplements available. The menu offerings begin with a Zuppa of celery roots with poached pear and spiced hazelnuts, followed by appetizer options like Plateau Frutti Di Mare with oysters, snow crab claws, seafood ceviche, and Terrina, a duck terrine with Tuscan lentils, candy cane beets, and orange marmalata. Entree selections include Chef Portale‘s signature Lumache pasta with bolognese Bianco, black truffle, and Parmigiano, and a Bistecca For Two, a filet mignon perfect to share with roasted carrots, cipollini onion, and truffled potatoes. The Mary Lane

A romantic cozy oasis, The Mary Lane is featuring a date-worthy Valentine’s Day prix-fixe menu at $95 per guestChef Mike Price and Chef de Cuisine Andrew Sutin are whipping up three courses that will be sure to swoon. The first course includes Hamachi Crudo served with pomelo vinaigrette, chili, Tokyo turnip, and toasted hazelnuts, Long Island Duck Confit accompanied by creamy grits, Tuscan kale, roasted radish, with spiced duck jus, followed by second course choices like an Angus Filet Mignon, paired with parsnip gratin, grilled broccolini, rosemary, and roasted garlic demi, as well as Maine Lobster Tagliatelle with saffron, wilted spinach, burst tomatoes, and Meyer lemon bread crumbs. Virgil’s

Those craving a barbecue experience on Valentine’s will want to check out Virgil’s Smokin’ Love to-go special ($105) for two, with a sampling of all barbecue meats including BBQ Chicken, Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Memphis-Style Pork Spare Ribs. Also included are Trainwreck Fries, Mac & Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Cornbread, and a slice of decadent Chocolate Cake to share, available for pick-up or delivery from either location. For dine-in at Virgil’s Times Square, their Surf & Turf special ($80) features a Ribeye Steak and Grilled Salmon, with a choice of two sides and a slice of Chocolate Cake. Kintsugi

Kintsugi is taking reservations for their sushi counter omakase on February 14.

Aska

Aska is offering a memorable Valentine’s Day with a 9-course tasting experience priced at $395 per person. Optional wine pairings for $250 per guest are available for purchase in advance or at the table.

Masa

Masa is offering a special Valentines Day Omakase priced at $800 per person. The menu will consist of 4-5 small dishes, including the Ohmi Beef Tataki and expertly prepared sushi based on Chef Masa’s ever-changing inspiration and seasonality. Sit at the Hinoki sushi counter or join us in Masa’s dining room for a more intimate dining experience. Preference for dining at the counter or dining room will be taken, but are not guaranteed. Seating’s are offered at 12 pm, 5 pm or 8 pm.

Club A Steakhouse

Club A Steakhouse is offering a $125 per person prix-fixe Valentine’s Day menu on February 14.

Le Rivage

Le Rivage is offering a $95 3-course menu for Valentine’s Day.

Le Pavillon

Le Pavillon will be offering a 4 course prix fixe lunch menu at $195 per person. Reservations for February 14 from 11:30 am – 4 pm.

Ample choices for each course featuring Le Pavillon’s signature seafood and vegetable-forward offerings. Caviar and Black Truffle supplements will be available.

You can reserve in their dining room, at their bar or in their lounge. Their bar and lounge offer soaring ceilings and stunning views of Grand Central and the Chrysler Building. Their Dining Room is nestled between their indoor garden and windows overlooking 42nd Street.

They are also offering a 4 course Valentine’s Day dinner menu at $255 per person. Credit card is required to reserve.  Reservations for February 14 from 4:30 pm – 10 pm.

Kissaki Omakase Bowery

Kissaki Omakase Bowery will be offering a 16-Course Omakase which includes 3 Appetizers, 12 pieces Nigiri & Dessert at $180 per person. $100 deposit is required to book. All Deposits are final and non-refundable. Deposits will be deducted from final bill. Reservations for February 14 from 4 pm – 10 pm.

Misirizzi

Misirizzi will be offering a 4 course prix fixe menu for $90 per person with optional wine pairing for $55 per person. Reservations for February 14 is from 4:30 pm – 9:30 pm.

Bar Boulud

Bar Boulud will be offering a 3 course prix fixe menu at $105 per person. Reservations for February 14 from 4:30 pm – 10 pm.

Il Fiorista

Il Fiorista will be offering a prix fixe multi-course menu at $100 per person with optional wine pairing at $58 per person. Reservations for February 14 is at 5 pm.
