This list is not exhaustive and I update the information becomes available. I try to feature as much as I can but certainly this is not all that is out there. If your favorite restaurant is not on the list, I would recommend contacting them to see what they are offering.
Fora
Fora in Chicago is offering a five-course Valentine’s Day menu priced at $75 per person. The menu follows a thematic progression:
- First Sight: Choice of saffron oyster aioli with creamed collards or champagne and roasted strawberry gelée bite.
- Introduction: Love Apple Salad with rose petal vinaigrette.
- The Dance: Choice of winter truffle risotto, roast chicken with dauphinoise potatoes and honey-roasted vegetables, or petit filet with purple Peruvian potato mash and charred romanesco.
- First Kiss: Choice of olive oil cake with poached pear, Manchego cheesecake with charred fig, or chocolate mousse with gold shortbread.
- Heading Home: Nightcap offerings (to be announced).
Proxi
Proxi in Chicago is offering a multi-course, family-style Valentine’s Day tasting menu priced at $120 per person. Guests can enhance their dining experience with optional wine pairings curated by Wine Director Jake Bennie for $55 per person. The à la carte menu will not be available on Valentine’s Day.
