Thanksgiving Detroit 2024: Restaurant Offerings
This list is not exhaustive and I update the information becomes available. I try to feature as much as I can but certainly this is not all that is out there. If your favorite restaurant is not on the list, I would recommend contacting them to see what they are offering.
The Whitney
The Whitney in Detroit is offering a Classic Thanksgiving dinner with butternut squash soup, hand-carved turkey, sage and brioche bread stuffing, white cheddar whipped potatoes, and green beans almandine. Family-style maple brown sugar sweet potatoes and orange cranberry relish are also included.
Kona Grill
Kona Grill in Troy invites guests to celebrate Thanksgiving with dine-in and takeout options. The menu features traditional roasted turkey with sautéed green beans, miso mashed potatoes, brioche stuffing, and ginger-yuzu cranberry sauce. For a unique twist, Kona offers the Macadamia Nut Turkey, which includes a macadamia nut-crusted turkey breast with shoyu cream sauce. Guests can complete their meal with pumpkin pie and a Pumpkin Spiced Old Fashioned. The Thanksgiving specials are available from November 28 to December 1. For those celebrating at home, Kona Grill offers a Thanksgiving to-go package, including two Macadamia Nut Turkeys, one Traditional Roasted Turkey, one kids’ roasted turkey, and a pumpkin pie.
Madam
Madam in Birmingham is offering a Thanksgiving buffet featuring succulent turkey, sourdough stuffing, braised greens, and hand-crafted desserts. Adult pricing is $75, children aged 4-10 are $35, and children under 3 dine free.
Granite City Food & Brewery
Granite City Food & Brewery – Troy and Granite City Food & Brewery – Northville are offering a Thanksgiving buffet with traditional favorites like sliced roasted turkey breast, sage stuffing, and cranberry chutney, alongside dishes such as stout-braised pot roast, salmon béarnaise, and creamed corn succotash. The buffet is priced at $34.99 per person.
Rugby Grille Restaurant
Rugby Grille Restaurant in Birmingham is offering a four-course Thanksgiving dinner, including dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage, for $125 per person. A special children’s menu is available for guests 12 and under. Dinner will be served at 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 6:00 PM on November 28.
Fleming’s Steakhouse
Fleming’s Steakhouse in Birmingham is offering a 3-course Thanksgiving menu starting at $62 per guest. The menu features a choice of mixed herb-roasted turkey, filet mignon, or prime bone-in ribeye. The meal includes a starter, traditional sides, and dessert. The restaurant will be open from 11 AM on Thanksgiving Day, with reservations available throughout the day.
Eddie Merlot’s Prime Aged Beef & Seafood
Eddie Merlot’s in Bloomfield Hills is offering a Thanksgiving prix-fixe menu for $49 per person, with a children’s option available for $24. The meal includes a starter (choice of salad or King Crab & Corn Bisque), hand-carved roasted turkey with traditional sides, and a selection of desserts. The restaurant will be open from 11 AM to 8 PM, and the regular dinner menu will also be available.
The Laundry
The Laundry in Fenton is hosting a Thanksgiving buffet priced at $45.95 per adult and $23 for children under 12. The buffet will feature a variety of Thanksgiving classics, and tableside reservations are required, with limited walk-in seating at the bar. The buffet will be available from 12 PM to 5 PM, with specific dining times based on party size.
Sullivan’s Steakhouse
Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Detroit is offering a Thanksgiving prix-fixe menu for $51 per person, with a children’s option priced at $25. The meal includes a choice of starters, hand-carved roasted turkey with traditional sides, and a dessert selection. The Windjammer Bar and Grill
