The Starbucks Summer Game runs from August 6, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. PST and ends on September 10, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

The approximate value of all prizes is $229,276.50 CDN. There are three types of ways to win: collect game pieces, mini game instant win, or surprise instant win.

The Costa Rica Grand Prize consists of :
- Round trip transportation to/from winner’s home and airport
- Round trip, coach-class air transportation for two from a major airport near winner’s home to San Jose, Costa Rica
- 2 nights’ hotel accommodations in San Jose for 2 at Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen (mountain view; includes breakfast)
- 3 nights’ resort accommodations for 2 at W Costa Rica Reserva Conchal (one bedroom suite; ocean view; balcony and plunge pool)
- Roundtrip transportation between Marriott Hacienda and the Starbucks Coffee Farm

How to Play Starbucks Summer Game Canada 2019
- Open to legal resident of Canada, age 18+
- Be a Starbucks Rewards member. Click here to create an account if you don’t have one.
- The game features a virtual game board where you need to get game plays in order to move around the board. There are two ways to earn game plays:
- Make a purchase. Buy something at Starbucks using your registered Starbucks Rewards Card to earn a game play.No purchase necessary. Visit www.starbuckssummergame.ca and follow the links and instructions to complete and submit the entry form. An email with a unique link will be sent to the email address you provided on the form. Click on the unique link to and sign in to your account and you will have received one play.
- Free First Visit Play. On your first visit, you get a free play.
- The maximum number of game plays per day is 2 either through purchases or free requests.
- Once you obtain a game play, follow the links and instructions to click or tap the virtual spinner. The spinner will determine how many spots you will move on the virtual game board.
- There are a few different spaces on the virtual game board:
- Mystery Space: Spin again or play a Mini Game where you receive a chance to win either an Instant Win Game Prize or Collect and Win Game Piece
- Power Move Space: your choice of moving between 1 – 4 spaces on the game board
- Mini Game Space: play a Mini Game for a chance to win either an Instant Win Game Prize or Collect and Win Game Piece.
- For the Collect and Win prizes, you need to collect three game pieces in order to win. 2 of the game pieces are pretty common but it’s that one rare piece that is hard to get! If you do get 3 duplicate game pieces, you will get one additional game play.
