Starbucks Canada is introducing a new layered take on the classic Frappuccino with the launch of the Strato Frappuccino Blended Beverage lineup, available nationwide beginning July 8. The limited-time offerings bring a more refined flavour experience while keeping the familiar texture and indulgence of the original drink. The name “Strato” comes from the Italian word for “layer,” a nod to the drink’s visual and flavour complexity.
There are three variations in the new Strato series. The Salted Cream Mocha Strato Frappuccino blends mocha sauce, Frappuccino Roast coffee, milk and ice, and is topped with salted caramel-flavoured cream cold foam and caramel drizzle.
The Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino features a mix of Starbucks matcha, classic syrup, milk and ice, layered with strawberry-flavoured cream cold foam. Its blend of earthy and fruity notes offers a lighter, visually distinct option.
The Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino pairs Frappuccino Roast coffee with milk and ice, then layers it with brown sugar-flavoured cream cold foam and a dusting of cinnamon.
Each beverage delivers a layered look and taste designed for guests seeking a new take on an iced coffee treat. The Strato series will be available in stores across Canada for a limited time.
