Smokehouse Sandwich Co. is a hidden gem in Richmond specializing in artisan smoked meat sandwiches using locally sourced ingredients. They recently introduced The Goliath, a challenging version of their Samson Burger featuring double meat, a Portobello Mushroom, fried egg, red bell peppers and lettuce. Their meat is an oh-so-delicious coffee-crusted strawberry-glazed beef brisket. Priced at $18.99.

The beef brisket was wonderfully juicy, tender and flavourful with a subtle sweet taste from the strawberry glaze. The lettuce was nicely crispy and the portobello mushroom was moist and juicy. All in all, it’s a delicious mess worth trying!
