Shawn’s Chicken is a must-try fried chicken spot in Richmond (BC Canada). The Beijing founded brand features fried chicken that is marinated with more than 20 different Chinese herbs to enhance flavour and tenderness. They use fresh NOT previously frozen meat and have a high quality deep fryer to enhance the crispiness of the meat.
Their fried chicken is honestly so good with their flavour, crispiness on the outside; tenderness; and super juiciness. We tried the Axe Chicken Combo with fries and a drink as well as the Chicken Family Pack with half leg and half thigh. The Chicken Wings were very tasty and we also loved the fries. The Plum Juice was a very refreshing too.
I’ve also returned a few times to enjoy their fried chicken. They close at 1 am if you are looking for a late night restaurant in Richmond.
