San Pedro Square Market is a bustling marketplace in Downtown San Jose CA. There you can discover a diverse array of enticing culinary delights from pizza and Latin American cuisine to craft beer, sushi, fusion hot dogs, and beyond. You can opt for patio dining (with a dog-friendly atmosphere) or immerse yourself in the lively entertainment scene.

Here are some vendors we tried out at San Pedro Square Market.
Hella Good Burger
Hella Good Burger is an old-fashioned burger spot serving classic burgers with fresh, local ingredients. We tried the Hella Good Burger featuring 1/3 lb beef patty from Niman Ranch Beef, Tillamook cheddar, secret sauce, house dill pickles, onions and lettuce. Washed it down with a Vanilla Shake made with Strauss Family organic dairy.

Pizza Bocca Lupo
Pizza Bocca Lupo was the first Neapolitan pizzeria in the South Bay that bakes in a hand-made brick oven imported from Naples. The oven cooks the pizza in 1-2 minutes at very high temperatures giving them a distinct taste and texture. We got the Pepperoni and Marinara Pizza which had a chewy, bubbly, fluffy and flavourful crust with the right amount of char. The tomato sauce had the right amount of tanginess.

Urban Momo
Urban Momo is an Indo-Nepalese vendor at San Pedro Market that is known for offering “Momo.” Momo is a Nepali steamed dumpling filled with minced vegetables or ground meat served with a side of achaar, a dipping sauce. Achaar has a tomato and sesame seeds base with several fragrant spices like Sichuan peppercorns, turmeric, coriander.

We tried the momos with chicken filling; plain naan; and Manchurian chicken. The food was aromatic and had a lot of flavour. The Manchurian chicken dish had a lot of heat! Decent filling to dumpling ratio.

San Pedro Square Market has many more eateries and bars to check out. They are located at 87 N San Pedro St, San Jose, CA.
