Quanjude Vancouver: NEW $299 Combo for Four

Quanjude, a MICHELIN-starred restaurant in Vancouver, is renowned for their signature Beijing Duck, prepared using time-honoured techniques. They’ve recently launched a new $299 Combo for Four – a curated nine-course menu showcasing their culinary expertise. Plus, my followers who order this combo will receive one complimentary mocktail per person.  Just show them this post for the offer.

Here’s a look at my experience.

The meal began with Shanghai-Style Braised Wheat Gluten with Four Treasures and Drunken Argentine Red Prawns. The wheat gluten was savoury and rich, while the prawns, marinated in a fragrant drunken sauce, were tender and subtly sweet.

Next, the Quanjude Signature Duck Soup delivered a warm, umami-rich broth infused with delicate herbs and spices.

The first main course was the Fresh Bullfrog Legs in Three Onion Sauces, offering tender meat with bold onion flavours.

The highlight of the mains is undoubtedly the Quanjude Signature Beijing Duck featuring perfectly crispy skin and tender, juicy meat paired with traditional accompaniments.

The Steamed Sea Bass with Red Shallot Sauce offered delicate seafood flavours, while Beijing Imperial-Style Zha Jiang Noodles wrap up the savoury courses with a bold, umami-rich sauce.

There was also the Braised Pork Stomach with Beancurd Sticks and Green Soybeans.

For dessert, Almond Black Sesame Rice Balls provided a subtly sweet and nutty finish.

This Quanjude $299 Combo for Four is available Monday to Thursday all day, and Friday to Sunday during designated hours, excluding holidays.

I found this combo to showcase the breadth of their offerings and it was good value too as we had plenty of leftovers.

By the way, have you noticed the restaurant’s ceiling which showcases a striking artistic design? It presents inverted aerial interpretations of Beijing’s Forbidden City alongside Canada Place with its iconic five white sails, symbolizing the connection between the two cities.

Thanks to the staff at the restaurant for pointing it out this time as I haven’t noticed it before in previous visits.

Don’t forget to mention this post to enjoy your complimentary mocktails with this combo.

Quanjude is located at 2808 Cambie St, Vancouver, BC.
