New Year’s Eve is Tuesday, December 31 and New Year’s Day is Wednesday, January 1.
New Year’s Eve NYC 2024 and Day Brunch 2025
This list is not exhaustive and I update the information becomes available. I try to feature as much as I can but certainly this is not all that is out there. If your favorite restaurant is not on the list, I would recommend contacting them to see what they are offering.
BLACKBARN
BLACKBARN in New York is offering a prix-fixe New Year’s Eve dinner curated by Chef John Doherty and Executive Chef Brian Fowler. The four-course menu, priced at $185 per adult with an optional $235 wine pairing, begins with either a Symphony of Caviar featuring Sevruga, Osetra, and Trout roe preparations or Wild Mushroom Toast.
Main course options include Pan-Seared Diver Scallops with confit porcini risotto and garlic crumbs or Filet Mignon and Tiger Prawn served with potato fondant, broccoli, and Creole béarnaise sauce. For dessert, guests can choose between Eggnog Cheesecake with a gingersnap crust or Warm Apple Cider Donuts.
An à la carte menu will also be available, featuring signature dishes such as Market Carrots & Kale Salad, Olive Oil Braised Octopus, and Herb-Crusted Black Cod.
OASES
OASES in New York is offering a refined New Year’s Eve dining experience blending New American cuisine with Himalayan influences. Chef Georgie Castillo, previously of Atoboy, Momofuku, Le Coucou, and Manhatta, has crafted a special menu highlighting signature dishes alongside exclusive holiday specials.
Guests can enjoy comforting housemade Momos served with Lobster Consommé, Roasted Mushroom, and Tomato Chutney, as well as Braised Short Rib and Mushroom Ragu Bolognese. The evening will also feature Champagne toasts, caviar, and truffle specials designed to elevate the celebration.
Both an à la carte menu and seasonal specials will be available.
Joanne Trattoria
Joanne Trattoria in New York is offering a New Year’s Eve dinner paired with a live revue featuring drag, cabaret, and comedy performances hosted by Jupiter Genesis. The prix-fixe menu, priced at $39.95 per person, includes a three-course Italian dining experience inspired by Germanotta family recipes.
The meal begins with a choice of Caesar or Chopped Salad, followed by entrée options such as Lemon Chicken, Chicken Marsala, Branzino, Eggplant Parmesan, Vegetable Lasagna, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Veal Ragu, or White Truffle Pappardelle. For dessert, guests can select between Cannoli or Cheesecake.
A $12.95 deposit is required for reservations, redeemable towards the first glass of house wine or beer. Additional drink specials will be available throughout the evening.
The Stand
The Stand in New York is offering a prix-fixe New Year’s Eve menu priced at $95 per person. The meal begins with an amuse-bouche of caviar bumps and a champagne toast, followed by dishes such as Pizetta alla Truffle, Bone Marrow Pie, Salmon Steak, Roasted Duck, and Prime Rib Au Jus.
Dessert includes another celebratory champagne toast. Guests can also add a comedy show to their evening, with ticket prices ranging from $50 to $75 depending on the showtime. An open bar experience is available for $65 starting at 10 PM, accompanied by a ball drop celebration.
Pink Taco
Pink Taco in New York is hosting its first-ever Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration. The event, starting at $164.60 per ticket (including taxes and fees), offers a five-hour premium open bar, three hours of passed appetizers, and a midnight champagne toast. The celebration will feature live music, a dance floor, and proximity to the iconic Times Square ball drop.
Somewhere Nowhere
Somewhere Nowhere in New York is hosting its New Year’s Eve event, The Book of the Forbidden. The evening includes a 4.5-hour premium open bar from 8 PM to 12:30 AM, live theatrical acts, panoramic views of the city skyline, and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets start at $288.89, including fees, and provide access to the indoor party experience.
Circo Times Square
Circo Times Square in New York, hosted by El Grupo SN, offers an immersive New Year’s Eve experience blending nightlife and glamour. The event features international DJs, live performances, and a five-hour premium open bar. Select tickets also include exclusive views of the Times Square ball drop. Entry begins at $90.85 per ticket.
Vallarta Tropical
Vallarta Tropical in New York City is offering a festive New Year’s Eve celebration with a prix-fixe menu for $99 per person. The menu features regional Mexican flavors, live music, and a vibrant ambiance. Guests can also join pre-party celebrations starting at 3 PM. Reservations are available until midnight.
Blu on the Hudson
Blu on the Hudson in Weehawken NJ is offering a three-course prix-fixe menu and New Year’s Eve Ball Drop Celebration.
- First Seating: $95 per person, available from 5 PM to 6:30 PM.
- Second Seating: $125 per person, available from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. Includes an optional upgrade for the Ball Drop Celebration for $175 per person.
- Ball Drop Celebration: $250 per person starting at 9:30 PM, featuring a grand cocktail reception, premium open bar, hand-passed bites, and live performances.
The restaurant is also offering brunch items until 5 PM on New Year’s Day, with regular service continuing until 9 PM.
Hortus NYC
Hortus NYC is is offering a five-course prix-fixe New Year’s Eve menu for $85 per person, with optional wine pairings for $40. The contemporary space includes an atrium garden dining area. The restaurant is open during regular hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Heritage Grand Bakery, Restaurant, & Pizza Bar
Heritage Grand Bakery, Restaurant, & Pizza Bar in Midtown Manhattan is offering a $65 prix-fixe holiday menu for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Menu includes butternut squash soup or fall green salad, roasted turkey breast medallions with sides, and a choice of pumpkin, pecan, or apple crumble pie with vanilla Schlag. The adjacent bakery is offering grab-and-go treats, hot chocolate, and freshly baked goods. The bakery operates from 7 AM to 7 PM, while the restaurant is open from 11 AM to 10 PM on New Year’s Eve and 11 AM to midnight on New Year’s Day.
Hornblower Infinity
Hornblower Infinity in New York is offering a luxurious New Year’s Eve celebration on the water. This yacht event includes a four-hour premium open bar, buffet-style hors d’oeuvres, and live DJ entertainment. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the NYC skyline from both indoor and outdoor decks. Wine and cocktail pairings are available for an additional cost. The late seating, priced at $119 per person, extends the experience and allows guests to stay for the midnight countdown and festive cocktails at the bar.
Altair
Altair in New York presents two New Year’s Eve options. The early seating, from 5 PM to 6 PM, offers a four-course prix-fixe menu priced at $95 per person, featuring dishes such as honey squash with tomato chutney, house-made ricotta gnocchi, and hanger steak with pistachio romesco. Fushimi Midtown
Fushimi Midtown in New York is hosting its “Kiss Me at Midnight” New Year’s Eve celebration from 9 PM to 2 AM. Nerai
Nerai in New York is offering a six-course Greek-inspired chef’s tasting menu for New Year’s Eve, priced at $175 per person with an optional $65 wine pairing. Dishes include sunchoke soup, black bass crudo, warm carrot salad, truffle linguine, slow-roasted halibut stifado, and grilled lamb loin with crispy lemon potatoes. The evening ends with a blonde chocolate mousse.
BABA on Withers
BABA on Withers in Brooklyn is hosting a three-course prix-fixe dinner starting at $60, with entrée options including Vegetarian Maitake Cassoulet, Bar Salmon, and Duck Confit.
