The sixth National Fried Chicken Festival presented by Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers makes its return September 30 – October 1 at the New Orleans Lakefront.
2022 marked the festival’s first year at its new home along Lakeshore Drive, spanning from Franklin Avenue to the Seabrook Bridge.
The two-day event attracted over 107,400 attendees and featured thirty-five participating restaurants from New Orleans and nationwide.
With its expanded footprint along the Lakefront, the 2022 National Fried Chicken Festival featured Cane’s Square, the inaugural Custom Car Showcase curated by Hot Cars TV and Drive New Orleans, non-profit Community Corner presented by Capital One, Merchant Marketplace presented by New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund, Kids Coop and family zone presented by New Schools for New Orleans, two luxurious VIP lounges, including the Royalty lounge presented by Crown Royal and the Chicken and Bubbles Lounge presented by Chandon, and more.
While there is no shortage of new activations and experiences coming to the sixth annual event, Fried Chicken Festival attendees can expect everything they’ve come to know and love, including live music, cooking demonstrations and a stacked lineup of restaurants showcasing their best versions of fried chicken.
FCF will also continue its traditions of the Best Fried Chicken Contest, Best Use of Chicken in a Dish Contest, and honoring a New Orleans culinary icon.
