Crêperie Chez Suzette has been a longstanding spot in Old Montreal, known for their focus on traditional crêpes alongside a broader menu of French comfort dishes. The restaurant offers both sweet and savoury crêpes, with additional options like fondue, soups, and classic starters that reflect familiar French influences.

On our trip to Montreal, my family and I wanted a crepe experience and found Crêperie Chez Suzette to be a recommended spot.

What We Tried
Chicken Supreme Crepe
This was filled with tender chicken and finished with a parmesan béchamel and red peppers. The sauce added a creamy element without overpowering the filling, while the peppers brought a slight sweetness and contrast. The crêpe itself was soft and held everything together well.

La Symphonie
This fresh fruit crêpe came with maple syrup and showcased a mix of fruit that added natural sweetness and brightness. The maple syrup tied everything together, making it feel like a classic Quebec-inspired dessert. It was simple and satisfying, especially if you enjoy fruit-focused finishes.

La Cabane a Sucre
This crêpe was filled with scrambled eggs, ham, and bacon, offering a hearty, breakfast-style option. The combination was savoury and familiar, with the eggs providing a soft texture and the meats adding a salty, satisfying element. It felt like a comforting choice that works well at any time of day.

The Club Sandwich with bacon, chicken, tomato and lettuce add a delicious toasted bread and crisp vegetables and bacon.

Overall, Crêperie Chez Suzette delivers a straightforward take on classic crêpes, with options that range from sweet to savoury and portions that feel enough. It’s a place that focuses on familiar flavours and a relaxed dining experience in the heart of Old Montreal.
