Terrace Restaurant at the renowned Mission Hill Winery in the Okanagan is a premiere destination for an amazing food and wine experience in an al fresco setting.
I visited them for lunch where they offer a 2-course customizable menu paired with the winery’s finest wines with enhancements available.
It started off with the Exhilarat!on Brut Rosé which had a bright acidity and crisp finish.
Next was the Estate Cheese & Charcuterie featuring in-house cured meats, compote and relish, grilled bread and rosemary crackers
The appetizer was the Macleod’s Leap Tenderloin Carpaccio served with garlic toast, caramelized onion aioli and fresh horseradish. This was paired with the 2021 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
For mains, I went with the Seared Diver Scallops with tender pork, bell pepper broth and estate lemongrass. These perfect scallops were paired with the 2021 Reserve Chardonnay.
To finish, I had the Jackalope Farms Strawberry Shortcake. It was a beautiful dessert with an anise blossom Chantilly and strawberry caramel crunch.
I highly recommend a dining experience at Terrace Restaurant.
