MICHELIN Guide is returning to Las Vegas with the launch of a new Southwest edition, marking the first time the guide has covered the region and the city since 2009. The announcement confirms that inspectors are already in the field across Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah, with the full restaurant selection to be revealed during the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Southwest Ceremony.

The new regional guide brings Las Vegas back into MICHELIN coverage after more than a decade, following the last dedicated Las Vegas guide published in 2009, when 17 local restaurants received MICHELIN Stars. Since then, the city’s dining landscape has continued to evolve, expanding beyond the Strip and reflecting a broader range of culinary styles, chefs, and neighbourhood-driven concepts.
The Southwest edition represents a shift toward a wider geographic lens, allowing MICHELIN inspectors to assess restaurants across four states under a single guide. For Las Vegas, the return highlights how the city has matured as a dining destination, with growth visible both in resort-based restaurants and independent off-Strip establishments.
The announcement was made in partnership with regional tourism organizations, including the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, which positions Southern Nevada as a global leisure and business travel destination. The new guide provides an opportunity to showcase how Las Vegas dining has developed since the city last appeared in MICHELIN coverage.
Anonymous MICHELIN inspectors are currently making reservations and evaluating restaurants throughout the Southwest. The 2026 MICHELIN Guide Southwest Ceremony, where selected restaurants will be formally recognized, will be announced at a later date.
