Better Together BC launched its first-ever Kitchen Hacks Challenge, a unique and timely video contest open to all BC families.
In an effort to bring families together in this unprecedented time and to raise awareness for the importance and lifelong benefits of sharing family meals, Better Together BC is challenging BC families to share their best kitchen hacks by video for the chance to win cash prizes from April 22nd to May 22nd, 2020.
The best part of the contest? BC families who participate by entering the contest will help raise funds for Food Banks BC in support of COVID-19 relief efforts.
For every entry received by the May 22nd deadline, BC’s dairy farmers will donate $100 to Food Banks BC.
Entering the contest is simple: all it takes is a phone or other recording device to film a short, 60-second or less video of your favourite “kitchen hack” – any tip or trick that makes sharing a meal together easier for families – to share with other families for the chance to win a grand prize of $1000 cash.
The winner will be determined by a panel of judges, including popular food blogger Samantha Gutmanis and celebrity host and cook Art Napoleon of APTN’s Moosemeat and Marmalade.
