K Cafe Patisserie & Tea House San Jose CA [Review]

K Cafe Patisserie & Tea House is an aesthetic cafe and brunch spot located in San Jose, California.

You’ll find a stunning space featuring flowers hanging from the ceilings; lush indoor greenery; pink accents; and plush furniture that make this ambiance feel feminine and fairytale-like. They are an excellent spot for a girls’ day out.

The outdoor patio is just as charming as the inside, decorated with leafy trees, string lights, whimsical statues and red umbrellas. It’s no doubt that K Cafe is particularly Instagram-worthy.

This Asian-French fusion cafe serves luxury treats at reasonable prices. You can stop in for a pastry and a coffee or stay for a full brunch. The menu features a variety of cakes, cheesecakes, and macarons, which sell out frequently. If you want something more substantial, you can’t go wrong with the Chicken Waffle Benedict or Fusion Breakfast, which comes with fried chicken, a poached egg, hollandaise sauce, bacon, chicken sausage, and your choice of a side (the garlic soy fries are a must-order!). For beverages, they offer various tea, coffee, and fruit drinks, including smoothies, boba tea, lattes, and smoothies.

They do not accept reservations so it is walk-in only. You order at the counter and they will give you a pager which will buzz when your order is ready. You choose any indoor or outdoor table after ordering. When the pager buzzes, you can pick up your order.

We went with the Fruit Crowned Waffle; Fusion Breakfast (fried chicken with poached egg and Hollaindaise sauce; crispy bacon; chicken apple sausage; croissant and fries as the side); Cheeseburger and an Iced Fruit Tea.

I thought the food was OK although the Cheeseburger had a secret sauce that was sweet which to me wasn’t very appealing in a burger.

They even give you plastic gloves for the burger.

All in all, a cute spot in San Jose to go for brunch and take some selfies for your social media profile.

For a better chance to get the table that you want (for a photo perhaps), I would advise going off-peak meal times.
