For all you matcha lovers out there, Honolulu Coffee is showcasing two custom Matcha creations for the month of March.
The lineup includes the Nitro Soy Matcha Latte served cold and with a Matcha Breakfast Cookie ($8); and the Mint Matcha Latte served hot and with a Matcha Walnut Brownie ($8).
I had the opportunity to try these new offerings and found them to be terrific pick-me-ups. The matcha taste was just right – a bit bitter (like the way I like it) but offset the sweetness in the housemade pastries.
Nitro Soy Matcha Latte (organic Amai Matcha powder, soy milk, infused with nitrogen)
Matcha Breakfast Cookie
Mint Matcha Latte (organic Amai Matcha powder, milk, housemade fresh mint syrup
Matcha Walnut Brownie
These limited-time-only items are available at Honolulu Coffee locations in Downtown Vancouver (888 Nelson Street) and Kerrisdale (2098 W. 41st Ave).
The Matcha Breakfast Cookie and Matcha Walnut Brownie are also available for $2.50 and $4 each, respectively, on their own or as a side order for any beverage.
Disclosure: I was invited for a media tasting where all items were complimentary.
