Freshii is expanding their menu with the launch of Lifestyle Bowls, a new lineup developed for Canadians paying closer attention to protein intake, portion balance, and nutrient density.

The new bowls reflect how eating habits are shifting across the country. More diners are seeking meals with higher protein and moderated carbohydrates and fats, influenced by lifestyle changes and increased awareness around appetite management. Research from Dalhousie University estimates that roughly two million Canadians now use GLP-1 medications, a trend prompting restaurants to rethink how meals deliver nourishment and satisfaction in smaller portions.
Freshii’s Lifestyle Bowls were developed with input from health and fitness professionals and are designed to support strength, energy, and daily wellness within a quick-service format. The lineup includes three bowls, each built with a different nutritional emphasis.
The Macro Balanced Bowl is a nutrient-dense option for everyday wellness. The bowl centres on roasted chicken with brown rice, vegetables, and a herb-based dressing.
The Harmony Bowl offers a higher calorie option for diners with greater energy needs. Roasted chicken is combined with sweet potatoes, greens, fruit, nuts, and grains to create a filling meal suited to active days or fewer meals across the day.
The Protein Power Bowl is designed for those prioritizing higher protein intake. Double portions of roasted chicken are served with vegetables, greens, and brown rice, creating a lower-carbohydrate option with the highest protein content in the lineup.
