Freshii Launches Premium Poke Bowls Across Canada

Freshii has expanded their national menu with the launch of a new premium poke bowl lineup now available across Canada. The quick-service chain, known for their health-focused approach to fast dining, introduces four options featuring sushi-grade seafood and tofu, available in teriyaki or ponzu flavour profiles.

Customers can now choose from bowls made with salmon, ahi tuna, prawns, or tofu. Each option is built on a base of rice and greens and includes toppings such as sliced avocado, mango, pickled onions, and crispy wonton strips. Garnishes like sesame seeds, furikake, and fried onions add texture, while sauces such as Sriracha Mayo and Wasabi Aioli round out the flavours.

The teriyaki bowls are served with either salmon or tofu, while the ponzu bowls offer a choice between ahi tuna or prawns. All bowls are prepared fresh in-store.

The recipes were developed by Chef Jason Baker, Director of Culinary for QSR at Freshii, whose culinary style draws from the West Coast’s focus on fresh, balanced meals. His goal was to deliver a dish that pairs convenience with taste, designed for customers looking for a lighter but filling option.

Freshii becomes the largest national chain in Canada to offer a poke bowl lineup, reflecting growing consumer demand for quick, fresh seafood-based meals.
