Chefs Daniel Boulud and Gavin Kaysen Raise Funds for Ment’or

After more than a decade, two celebrated chefs reunite to share their time, talents and help raise funds that support young culinary talent in the US.

Chefs Daniel Boulud and Gavin Kaysen are teaming up to help raise funds for Ment’or, a foundation that supports rising culinary talent through unique educational opportunities, internships and access to a Culinary Council of established mentors.

Chefs Boulud and Kaysen will reunite for an unforgettable experience and incomparable evening of cooking and dining, in the same city that brought them together nearly twenty years ago.

One winner and three guests will travel to New York City where they will be welcomed by Chefs Boulud and Kaysen in the test kitchen at the world renowned Restaurant DANIEL.

Together they will spend an intimate evening participating in an interactive dinner, and experience a 12-course tasting menu and wine pairing. Airfare and hotel accommodations included.

Culinary Council of more than sixty renowned chefs. Educational grants and internships are
offered to culinary professionals through the Continuing Education Grant Program. The Young
Chef and Commis Competition series offer yet another opportunity for them to further their
careers. Ment’or is also responsible for recruiting, training, and financially supporting the
promising young American chefs who represent Team USA in the prestigious biennial Bocuse
d’Or competition, held in Lyon, France. For the first time in history, Team USA 2017 won the
coveted Gold Medal.
