Mikko in Washington, DC is offering a three-course prix-fixe Valentine’s Dinner from February 13 to 15, available for both dine-in and takeout at $70 per person plus tax. The menu begins with a choice of starters including chestnut cappuccino with dark chocolate, winter greens with duck confit, pear and blue cheese, or curried mussels with charred bread. Entrée selections include pan-seared swordfish with browned butter and lobster risotto, lamb loin with brandy demi-glace and crispy potato latkes, or spicy vegetable kottu with tofu. Dessert options feature Budapest cake with berries, blueberry rye pie, or classic Princess cake. Reservations are recommended for dine-in service, with takeout available throughout the weekend.
ala in Bethesda is offering a limited-time Valentine’s weekend cocktail special alongside its regular dinner service. The featured HabiBae cocktail blends gin, crème de violette, aquafaba, pomegranate, and lemon, finished with rose petals and Sweethearts candy. The drink is available for a limited time at the Bethesda location, offering a festive addition for Valentine’s or Galentine’s dining plans. Reservations are available for Valentine’s weekend dining.
Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown in Washington, D.C. is offering Valentine’s Afternoon Tea from February 13 to February 15, served from 1 PM to 3 PM in the Loggia overlooking the courtyard. The $110 per person experience includes a glass of Domaine Chandon Rosé and a red or pink rose, with a menu by Executive Chef Jaime Montes de Oca and Executive Pastry Chef Lyndsey Barton featuring savoury and sweet selections.
The hotel is also offering overnight packages for the season. The Romantic Escape package, available February 11 to February 18, includes sparkling wine, breakfast in bed, and house-made chocolates, with rates starting at $450 per night.
