Prairie Grass Cafe in Northbrook is offering Valentine’s Weekend specials from February 13 to February 15 featuring rotating dinner specials, a bubbly tasting event, and Prairie Prime steak cuts. Dinner specials include Arctic Char with lemon herb glaze on February 13 for $37, Slow Braised Boneless BBQ Short Rib on February 14 for $34, and Tuna Tartare with egg salad and avocado on February 15 for $34. A Valentine’s Bubbly Tasting takes place February 13 at 5 PM for $65 per person, featuring sparkling wine paired with small bites including smoked salmon tartare, mini crab cakes, and mushroom toast. Prairie Prime Cuts and steakhouse wedge salads are also available throughout the weekend.
The Barn Steakhouse in Evanston is offering Valentine’s Day specials on February 14 from 5 PM to 10 PM alongside the regular menu. Featured dishes include Oysters Rockefeller with Pernod hollandaise, Roasted Prime Rib with Yorkshire pudding and horseradish cream, Dover Sole for Two with sauce meunière, and Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert.
Eden in Chicago is offering Valentine’s specials on February 13 and February 14 from 5 PM to 10 PM in addition to the regular menu. Seasonal offerings include wood-roasted filet with potato purée and truffle-Parmesan jus, lobster salad with preserved citrus and avocado, truffle honey-roasted mushrooms, and raspberry–black currant chocolate mousse for dessert.
FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar in Chicago is offering a four-course Valentine’s prix-fixe dinner on February 13 and February 14 for $95 per person, including a complimentary bottle of Champagne. The menu includes shared starters, a choice of Lobster Bisque or Endive Frisée Salad, entrées such as Seared Halibut, Mushroom Ravioli, or Grilled Ribeye, and desserts including Orange Lava Cake, Strawberry Cheesecake, or Fig & Honey Panna Cotta.
Gene & Georgetti in Chicago is offering Valentine’s specials from February 13 to February 15 alongside the regular menu. Guests can order items such as Seafood Tower, caviar service, shrimp de Jonghe, housemade pastas, USDA Prime steaks, Beef Carpaccio, Barolo-braised short rib ravioli, Surf & Turf for Two, and Chocolate Lava Cake, along with festive cocktails and Champagne selections.
The Albert in Chicago is offering a three-course Valentine’s prix-fixe dinner from February 13 to February 15 between 5 PM and 9 PM for $65 per person, or $75 per person including a glass of Prosecco. Guests choose starters such as braised garlic mussels or grilled romaine lettuce with fried anchovies, followed by entrées including lobster ravioli with saffron cream sauce, beef tenderloin with shrimp de Jonghe and butter polenta, or mushroom risotto with pesto artichoke. Desserts include sticky butter rum cake or chocolate flourless cake with salted caramel sauce.
LeTour Social Kitchen & Bar in Evanston is offering Valentine’s specials alongside the regular menu from February 11 to February 14, available 4:30 PM to 8 PM on February 11 and 12, and 5 PM to 9 PM on February 13 and 14. Menu additions include Truffled Cheese Fondue with sourdough and crudité, Crab Cakes with harissa aioli, Pumpkin Farrotto, Surf & Turf, jalapeño-chimichurri Lamb Chops, and a dessert Duo of Éclairs in passionfruit and butterscotch flavours.
ROOF on theWit in Chicago is offering a Valentine’s Day Dinner and Dancing experience on February 13 and February 14 for $65 per person. The evening includes a three-course menu, complimentary Champagne, rose gifts, and DJ music alongside skyline views.
State and Lake Chicago Tavern in Chicago is offering a three-course Valentine’s dinner from February 13 to February 15 between 5 PM and 9 PM for $65 per person. Menu options include butternut squash soup or grilled romaine salad to start, Maine lobster ravioli with vodka tomato cream sauce or grilled beef tenderloin with shrimp de Jonghe as mains, and desserts such as chocolate truffle cake or Italian meringue with fruit purée and white chocolate. A February cocktail special, the Velvet Rose Martini with vodka, raspberry liqueur, rose syrup, and lemon juice, is also available.
