Air Canada Holiday Travel: Flights, Menus, Wi-Fi and Airport Support

Air Canada is preparing for a high-volume holiday travel period, with more than 2.3 million customers expected to fly until January 4 on over 18,000 flights serving more than 180 destinations worldwide. Daily passenger counts are projected to reach close to 130,000, with peak days surpassing 140,000 travellers across the network.

Teams from Air Canada are operating with expanded airport and onboard support during the holiday season, with focused assistance for families, unaccompanied minors, and customers with accessibility requirements. Airline agents are positioned throughout terminals to assist with navigation, connections, and general travel needs during busy travel days.

Seasonal touches are appearing across many Canadian airports until December 24. Customers may receive complimentary festive snacks, including LeClerc Célébration Cookies and TWIGZ Buttery Herb and Garlic Pretzels, reflecting familiar onboard offerings. Frontline staff at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport have welcomed travellers with small holiday surprises as part of the seasonal experience.

Travel Updates and Onboard Services

Recent service updates are in place for holiday travellers. Aeroplan Members have access to fast, free Wi-Fi on North American and Sun routes, sponsored by Bell. The Air Canada mobile app continues to support day-of-travel planning with real-time flight status, gate updates, and baggage tracking. A newer feature introduces customers to the employees handling their baggage, offering added transparency during the journey. Priority assistance remains available across the network for families and travellers requiring extra support.
