Brunch will be served in Preston’s, located on the hotel’s second floor mezzanine overlooking Highland Ave. Executive Chef Jeff Torin is preparing a decadent spread including a complimentary mimosa bar to celebrate the occasion, as well as smoked salmon, fresh seafood, fruits and mini quiches to start, along with made-to-order omelets, Belgian waffles, a meat carving station and roasted snapper. Sides will include a mix of seasonal vegetables, fresh salads, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage and an assortment of breads and pastries, as well as a selection of sweets and cupcakes for dessert.

Redbird will be offering up Mother’s Day brunch and dinner prix fixe menus on Mother’s Day. Brunch menu highlights include: Spring Gazpacho with avocado, aji amarillo and garden caviar, Sausage Roll with rabbit merguez, honey mustard and dandelion greens, and Raviolo with english peas, lobster and morels. Dinner menu highlights include: Strawberry Salad with wild arugula, lavender goat cheese, strawberry verjus, pistachio and basil oil, Diver Scallop with kohlrabi potage, celtuce and speck, and Triple Chocolate Entremet with dark chocolate cake, milk chocolate mousse and white chocolate cremeux. Menus are $75++ (brunch) and $85++ (dinner) per person with a separate children’s menu (10 and under) for $25++.
Violet Bistro
Violet Bistro is offering Mother’s Day afternoon tea on May 11. Priced at $95 per guest. Haute Tea à la Violet infuses the charm of a French bistro with their favorite traditions from an English afternoon tea. Their signature tea blend is served with scones, sweet cream and jam, tea sandwiches, petit fours, and other decadent bites. Additional appetizer favorites include Potato Parmesan Gnocchi, Diver Scallops and Seared Ahi Tuna.. A decadent array of desserts will complete the meal including Deconstructed Strawberry Cheesecake, Rose Lychee Raspberry Tart and Earl Grey and Lavender Panna Cotta. They are also offering Mother’s Day dinner.
