Iron Chef Ming Tsai’s Frozen Handhelds, MingsBings, Now at Costco

MingsBings, the first commercially produced Bing in the United States, was founded in 2020 by James Beard award-winner Chef Ming Tsai- a pioneer of East meets West cuisine. The line of better-for-you, food allergen-friendly pockets has quickly gained traction in both retail and foodservice channels with placements in major retailers across the US, as well as top concession locations like Fenway Park and Hard Rock Stadium, and premier colleges and universities.

Iron Chef Ming Tsai was able to work with the team at Costco to develop the brand’s newest better-for-you line (a mix of both meat and veg, expanding beyond the brand’s original plant-based recipe) based on consumer demand and retail feedback, and the Meat-Filled Cheeseburger Bing at available at Costco locations in the Bay Area.

The launch of MingsBings into Costco in the Bay Area, demonstrates the crunchy wrap line’s expansion into even more retail and food service channels. Retail stores are paying closer attention to sourcing delicious, healthy, easy-to-prepare food brands for families on the go. MingsBings is now on shelves at over 5,000 grocery stores throughout the U.S.- despite the brand’s launch as exclusively direct-to-consumer in 2020.
