The Amalfi Llama (Aventura) – Opening January 2024
Bringing the art of live fire cooking and a not-before-seen fusion of Mediterranean and Patagonian cuisine, Eureka! Restaurant Group and Grupo Carolo Hospitality will open their first ever concept: The Amalfi Llama at Miaimi’s Esplanade at Aventura on January 26. The restaurant reimagines the culinary landscape by seamlessly merging the allure of a rustic live-fire steakhouse with the flavors of Italian cuisine, creating a socially conscious, culinary haven where genuine cooking, down-to-earth cuisine and stylish flair intertwine. Guests embark on a journey from Southern Patagonia to the Mediterranean coast of Italy as they indulge in a multisensory experience that transcends boundaries – from the soothing cream decor to the intimate ambiance of crackling embers accompanied by the melodies of vintage Italian vinyls. Embracing the essence of a modern farmhouse, The Amalfi Llama revolves around an open parrilla grill and wood-burning oven, harnessing fire, smoke, coals and embers to craft dishes that pay homage to coastal cultures across Patagonia and Italy. The restaurant’s ethos also meets design with Latin American and Mediterranean influences, resulting in an inviting environment adorned with light woods, natural light and subtly elegant finishes, defying traditional steakhouse and Italian restaurant conventions.
Signora (Miami Beach) – Opening Spring 2024
Signora, the second restaurant venture from the Miami-rooted Plus Plus Group locally known for its private luxury lounge Gala Miami, is planned to open Spring 2024. Located in the heart of Miami Beach, the coastal Italian restaurant is inspired by the beauty and elegance of the feminine spirit. The restaurant is an ode to the grace and charm of Italian women, who have long been the nurturing force behind Italy’s rich culinary heritage. Signora’s menu promises an enticing journey along the sun-drenched shores and azure waters of Italy’s seaside towns, showcasing fresh seafood, locally-sourced ingredients and time-honored cooking techniques. Those anticipating the restaurant’s opening can get a first-taste of Signora during 2024’s South Beach Food & Wine Festival at “A Taste of Italy” on Thursday, February 22 where Signora’s Chef Jake Eaton will display his dynamic talents to tease what’s to come.
Café Bastille Miami Beach – Opening February 2024
Café Bastille is an exciting all-day French café that allows guests to experience the joy of brunch, bottomless mimosas and globally inspired cuisine all week long. Following the success of their Downtown Miami and Fort Lauderdale locations, partners Estelle and Benjamin are now expanding to an intimate location in Miami Beach, featuring scratch-made dishes with fresh, locally sourced ingredients – from French toast, eggs Benedict and pancakes to healthier options like salads and smoothies. The Miami Beach location is a 1,300 square-foot brunch haven adorned with gold and white accents, Parisian-style wooden chairs, and a serene color palette inspired by sage and basil. The 30-seat dining room offers an intimate indoor setting, while the 20-seat patio offers patrons an alfresco dining experience. Founded and owned by Benjamin and Estelle, dynamic partners from Paris, Café Bastille draws inspiration from their extensive travels around the world.
