Wicked Spoon Buffet Las Vegas Cosmopolitan [Review, Photos]

The Wicked Spoon Buffet at the Cosmopolitan Hotel is known to be one of the best daytime buffets (breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch) in Las Vegas.

Do you need to reserve for Wicked Spoon?

They do take reservations which you can make online. It would be recommended to make reservations ahead of time if you can because the wait can be kind of crazy. Below is a photo of the walk-in line.

VIP Line

If you are a Marriott Bonvoy Gold or above status, you can automatically access the VIP line as well as 15% off your bill.

I was staying at the hotel so they automatically saw my Marriott Bonvoy Platinum status on the screen when I gave them my name and room number.

Interior

The dining area is massive and can accommodate hundreds of people in their four dining areas.

Is there a dress code for Wicked Spoon?

Guests of Wicked Spoon are required to wear resort attire and are prohibited from wearing hoods or hoodies of any kind and face paintings. Shoes are required and tops and bottoms must be covered. Uncovered swimsuits are allowed inside pool areas only, but are not allowed at Wicked Spoon.

My experience at Wicked Spoon Buffet

To start, we showed up at the Buffet and entered the VIP line due to Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Status. There was a bit of a wait but nothing compared to the walk-in line. Since it was the holidays, we paid for the holiday pricing which was $59 adults, $29.50 children minus the Platinum discount.

After that, we still had to wait in line for a table (probably about 20 minutes) as they staggered all the entries.

In general, I thought there was a good variety of high-quality items from the classics to more creative. The pricing seemed reasonable for what you get and it was even better with the Platinum member discount. The staff were friendly and professional. There were a lot of people at the buffet but everything was orderly. The stations were generally well-maintained and kept up with the demand. My favourites were the Wicked Spoon Fried Chicken, the Lobster Mac & Cheese, and the Snow Crab. The dessert selection was also very good and I liked the Wicked Carrot Cake and the Coconut Panna Cotta.
