Railtown Catering

Easy to reheat, the five-star feast includes three appetizers to amuse the tastebuds, a juicy and flavourful duck breast as the main course, and a heart shaped duo for a sweet ending. Start off by showcasing your artistic skills with the Smoked Balik Salmon. This portion of the salmon is known to be the most tender cut that melts in your mouth. Slowly smoked for flavour, the Smoked Balik Salmon comes with marinated potatoes and cucumbers with a side of dill crème fraîche and beet vinaigrette for your chance at creative plating. Up next is a warm and creamy Dungeness Crab Bisque complemented by black truffle and leek ravioli topped with a dollop of cognac cream. The final starter dish is a refreshing Baby Arugula, Fennel and Orange Salad served with toasted almonds, sweet oranges, and mint vinaigrette.

The main event features a Honey Roasted Duck Breast and Confit Leg rich in flavour and presented on a warm apple and brioche pudding, creamed savoy cabbage, and drizzled with natural duck jus. A protein not commonly prepared at home, the perfectly tender and succulent duck is bound to impress. For the grand finale, Railtown Catering is offering two contrasting heart shaped desserts: a berry and vanilla mousse heart cake dribbled with a raspberry hibiscus compote along with a dark chocolate mousse and coffee hazelnut praline crunch filled with a crème brûlée centre.

An impressive and thorough five-course meal for two, Railtown Catering’s Valentine’s To-Go package is priced at $199 plus tax with a vegetarian option upon request. Buttermere Patisserie is featuring two delightful cakes and a limited edition 9-piece chocolate box for Valentine’s Day.

Concentric circles symbolize harmonious interrelationships, shared outlook, and long term commitment. Ganache Pâtisserie

Ganache Pâtisserie is excited to announce its newest Valentine’s Day creation. Saint Valentin Rose Exotique 2023 alternates a pink grapefruit chiffon cake and a pink guava chiffon cake with layers of elderflower-lychee buttercream mousseline and a refreshingly tart key lime curd. The entire cake is finished in a pink chocolate velvet spray, a dripping white chocolate lychee glaze and textured pink chocolate hearts.

Designed to be shared generously with that special someone, though able to feed 4-6 people, Saint Valentin Rose Exotique 2023 ($55) will be available starting Friday February 10^th and pre-orders are strongly recommended for pickups on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday February 14^th..

C|Prime

For one night only, on Tuesday Feb. 14th, C|Prime will be offering a special Valentine’s Day Menu for Two ($300). Start with Amuse Bouche, followed by first course Tartar Duo with Wagyu Beef Tartar and Ahi Tuna; second course Tortellini Duo with crab tortellini & lobster cream and short rib tortellini with garlic cream, Demi and truffle; third course Surf ’N Turf with Grilled 1lb Canadian Lobster & garlic butter and 12oz Blue Dot Ribeye and roasted fingerlings; fourth course Dessert Duo with raspberry white chocolate and whiskey dark chocolate, plus chocolate strawberries to take home! Maenam

Packed with vibrant Thai flavours and created to share with your twin flame, Maenam’s Chef’s Tasting Menus will add a spark to your Valentine’s Day. Renowned chef Angus An’s exclusive dine-in tasting menus and take-home dinner sets are made with love, and will be available for one day only—February 14, 2023.

Whether you’re dining in or picking up food for an intimate tête-à-tête at home, Maenam’s special Valentine’s Day menus accommodate a variety of dietary requirements. Dine-in guests at this popular Michelin-recommended restaurant will tailor their Valentine’s Day experience by choosing from a delicious slate of dishes to share, priced at $95-$120 per person (minimum two). Kafka’s Coffee Roasting

There’s nothing cheesy about Kafka’s beloved heart-shaped pizza cookie! This perfectly chewy eight-inch cookie is topped with classic candies and sweets including Oreo pieces, chocolate Smarties, and marshmallows. Originally offered by the slice as an exclusive accompaniment to Kafka’s Ultimate ‘Kid’s’ Hot Chocolate for the 2023 Hot Chocolate Festival, this delightful treat has quickly become a fan favourite. Kafka’s pastry chef Adi Kesselman is offering the whole ‘pie’—in the shape of a heart—exclusively for Valentine’s Day by popular demand. Botanist is offering a Valentine’s Day 6-course tasting menu. Indulge in all the evening has to offer, including premium wine pairings and an aptly themed dessert, created by our Executive Pastry Chef, Kate Siegel.

Jules will be featuring from Friday, Feb 10th to Tuesday, Feb 14 a cocktail feature: Sour cherry side car: French brandy vsop, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice and amarena cherry syrup ($16). And a Surf and Turf special, enjoy a 35 Day Dry Aged 12oz Ribeye (Peppercorn or Herb Butter) and Lobster Tail for $95. Reservations are recommended.

Fanny Bay Oysters

Join Fanny Bay Oysters for a 3-course menu put together by Chef Tommy Shorthouse ($89) – this is available on Tuesday Feb 14th, Wednesday Feb 15th and Thursday Feb 16th. Start with first course: Salmon Mosaic with kelp powder, ikura, citrus orbs; second corse Lobster and Smoked Scallop Raviolis with poached lobster and caviar; third course Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese. Honey Salt will be featuring a stunning three-course menu with wine pairings. Priced at $88 and additional $50 for wine pairings. BC Kitchen

BCKitchen will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Speed Dating on February 14th from 7pm – 9:30pm. The restaurant witch normally is closed on Tuesdays has also decided to open its doors for all the love birds, who want to celebrate in there establishment this February 14th.

Enjoy spectacular ambiance with their equally remarkable five new Valentine’s features such as the black truffle & taleggio pizza ($39) or 30g tin of Caviar served with a bag Ruffle chips, crème fraîche and chives ($120) and you can end your the meal with a delightful tiramisu cream puff ($12).
Not forgetting about the bar teams three magnetic creations. One in particular being “Love You Oolong Time” ($16). This rich in pink libation is made with Bacardi Superior, Goldshlagger, Genmaicha Oolong tea, coconut milk, strawberry syrup, Otu Umeshu, strawberry mah Kwan bitters, and miraculous former.
