The 2025 MICHELIN Guide for Vancouver reaffirms the city’s position as a top culinary destination, with a total of 76 restaurants featured across three categories: 12 MICHELIN-Starred, 15 Bib Gourmand, and 49 Recommended.
There are two new one-star recipients, Sumibiyaki Arashi and Sushi Hyun while Good Thief enters the Bib Gourmand list. The guide spans 22 cuisine types overall, showcasing Vancouver’s cultural and culinary diversity.
In addition to restaurant accolades, MICHELIN awarded four special distinctions to hospitality professionals: Vysion Elter (Good Thief) for Exceptional Cocktails, Franco Michienzi (Elisa) for Sommelier, Danielle McAlpine (St. Lawrence) for Outstanding Service, and Juhyun Lee (Sushi Hyun) for Young Chef.
This year’s guide reflects a city where excellence thrives across both fine dining and casual formats, driven by talent, innovation, and global influence.
