Where to Celebrate Negroni Week NYC 2023

Negroni Week in NYC starts on September 18 to honor this iconic cocktail. The negroni is one of the most widely known aperitifs and has become a fan-favorite among many. Here are a few spots to celebrate Negroni Week in NYC.

Nomad Girl

Nomad Girl, a modern, stylish, Milanese style restaurant, composes a classic Negroni with three essential ingredients: Gin, Sweet Vermouth and Campari.

The ratio of each of these components and the process of stirring not shaking, is how Nomad Girl sets its cocktail apart.

When experiencing Nomad Girl’s Negroni, you will be whiffed away with the refreshing smell of juniper and the orange peels zesty aroma. Its vibrant red coloring and exquisite presentation feels like you are dining in Milan.

Sagaponack

Sagaponack, a Hamptons-like dining experience in the heart of the Flatiron District, serves Asian and Mediterranean-inspired seafood.

The inspiration for its Boulevardier Negroni stemmed from the coincidence of Negroni week occurring during the fall season.

The Negroni features walnut bitters, Sweet Vermouth, Amaro and Bourbon.

The use of walnut bitters and Amaro distinguish Sagaponack’s boulevardier by adding a fall seasonality to create a variation on a classic cocktail.

 State Grill and Bar

This year, imbibers in New York can enjoy the iconic cocktail at an equally iconic venue: the Empire State Building.

From September 18-24, the landmark’s ground level restaurant, State Grill and Bar, will serve their signature Duchess Negroni, $18, (dorothy parker rose petal gin, vervino vermouth, campari), to benefit Slow Food, a global movement of local communities and activists that spans more than 160 countries for the sake of access to healthy food.

For non-drinkers, the bar will also offer a Phony Negroni, poured over ice.

Launched in 2013 by Imbibe, Negroni Week celebrates the classic libation and an effort to raise money for charitable causes. It has since grown to thousands of participating venues across the globe, and has raised over $4 million. For more information visit their website.
