Wendy’s Canada has updated its seasonal menu with a high-profile cereal collaboration and new savoury additions. The spring lineup features a twist on the classic Frosty alongside expanded chicken options and the return of a familiar dipping sauce. These items are available at participating locations across Canada for a limited time.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frosty
The headline addition is the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frosty. This dessert uses a chocolate or vanilla base made with 100% Canadian dairy. It is finished with a caramel drizzle and topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. Unlike previous blended mix-ins, the cereal is served as a topping, which preserves the texture against the cold base.
Sweet Heat Honey Garlic Chicken Strips
The chicken menu also sees a temporary expansion with the Sweet Heat Honey Garlic Chicken Strips. These consist of the brand’s all-white meat Canadian chicken strips tossed in a honey garlic sauce that provides a mild heat. Guests can order these in three or five-piece allotments, either as a standalone item or as part of a combo meal.
Return of Sweet and Sour Dipping Sauce
In response to consumer demand, Wendy’s is reintroducing its Sweet and Sour dipping sauce to Canadian markets. This condiment is intended to accompany core menu staples, including nuggets, fries, and the new honey garlic strips.
