Valentine’s Day San Francisco 2023: Restaurant Special Menus
Sons & Daughters
Sons & Daughters is an elevated, intimate 16-seat Michelin-starred restaurant in Nob Hill within walking distance of downtown San Francisco. The restaurant, which earned 3.5 stars from the San Francisco Chronicle, offers a 14-16 course tasting menu inspired by new Nordic flavors and is anchored in classic techniques and the seasonality of Northern California from new Executive Chef Harrison Cheney. The Valentine’s Day menu is priced at $375 per person and will start with Champagne and the tasting menu will showcase the best of the late winter season, with optional supplements and pairings to enhance your 2 to 2.5 hr experience.
Jaranita
For $59 per person, Jaranita – the Marina District’s favorite Peruvian rotisserie – will feature a three-course Valentine’s Day prix-fixe menu. Starters include Grilled Spanish Octopus: glazed with anticuchera sauce, chimichurri potatoes, roasted bell peppers, aji Amarillo cream; or Empanadas. Main courses feature Arroz con Pollo: quarter rotisserie chicken, cilantro, and yellow pepper wok fried rice, criolla salad, and aji Amarillo cream; Lomo Saltado: traditional Peruvian-style beef tenderloin, tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, soy and oyster sauce, potatoes, and rice; and Tallarin con Camarones: linguini and prawns stewed in aji Amarillo and heavy cream and topped with parmesan cheese. Dessert includes Tres Leches.
Don Pistos
Don Pistos is a lively Mexican-inspired restaurant that opened in 2009 by Restaurateur and Chef Pete Mrabe is located in North Beach and features California coastal ingredients. Both locals and tourists alike gather for dishes from the raw bar and charcoal grill in a rustic environment. Duos can enjoy the Puerto Nuevo Lobster: live maine lobster with housemade flour tortillas, garlic butter, arbol salsa, rice, and beans, served with a complimentary bottle of bubbles (MP for two).
Tony’s Pizza Napoletana’s
Whether you’re looking for a destination to celebrate with friends or a romantic night for one, Tony’s Pizza Napoletana’s Heartbreaker Pizza and Box of Chocolates Cocktail is the perfect way to make this year’s holiday special!
A heart-shaped pizza, the Heartbreaker, will be available as classic pepperoni ($26) as well as a veggie ($28) with tomato sauce, mozzarella, onion, garlic, goat cheese, peppadew peppers, basil, romano, oregano & olive oil. Taking inspiration from traditional Valentine’s Day sweets, Lead Bartender Nick Lawlor’s specialty cocktail, Box of Chocolates ($14), is made with Ketel One vodka, lemon juice, strawberry purée, egg white, and crème de cocoa. Complex and refreshing, this cocktail is the perfect way to bring some extra sweetness to the occasion.
This pizza and cocktail special will be available exclusively at Tony’s Pizza Napoletana on Tuesday, February 14th.

Estiatorio Ornos San Francisco is offering a $145 per person menu.
Maison Alyzee
Starting February 6, Maison Alyzee will offer a special take on flowers and chocolate for Valentine’s Day in their Mountain View and Burlingame boutiques. “My White Valentine” features rose and white chocolate mousse with a ruby center of raspberry and hibiscus confit, on soft almond biscuit and sablé. “My Red Valentine” features decadent dark chocolate and light caramel mousse with praliné cream, soft hazelnut biscuit, and chocolate sablé.
The cakes are available in single and large 6-inch sizes, to buy individually or as a pair. Preorders are now open on their website.

The Bungalow Kitchen by Michael Mina
Grab your special someone and feel the love at The Bungalow Kitchen by Michael Mina, the lively social dining concept and community clubhouse located along the Tiburon waterfront, led by hospitality veteran Brent Bolthouse and Chef Michael Mina. This year, enjoy a decadent four-course dinner paired with stunning unobstructed views of the Bay and soulful bohemian interiors throughout the cozy two-story venue.
The Bungalow Kitchen’s Valentine’s Day Dinner Menu starts off with a fresh assortment of shellfish to share for the table including a choice of Pacific Oysters with Passion Fruit Mignonette or the Kaluga Caviar Service served with Crispy Potato Cakes, Egg Mimosa, Red Onion, Toast Points and Chive Crème Fraîche. For the first course, guests can select either Lobster Croquettes served with Saffron Aïoli; Burrata & Black Truffle Toast with Honey, Hazelnut, and Chive; Ahi Tuna Tartare with Chili Peppers, Mint Garlic, Pine Nuts, and Habanero-Sesame Oil; or the Crispy Sweet Potato Pancakes complemented by Gravlax, Apple Compote, Crème Fraîche, and Kaluga Caviar. Course two follows with a Dungeness Crab Cavatelli served with Garlic, Lemon, and Calabrian Chili Gremolata, and for the main course, guests have a choice of Prime NY Strip served alongside Loaded Crispy Potatoes and Truffle-Beef Jus or the Phyllo-Crusted Petrale Sole with Horseradish Potato Purée, Green Beans and Meyer Lemon-Caviar Sauce. Dinner concludes with the decadent Just An Old Fashioned Love Song comprised of White Chocolate, Passion Fruit and Gold Leaf.

Featuring a wonderful selection of some of Greens’ favorites, with some romance inspired creations from our Executive Chef Katie. A shared assortment of appetizers plus a choice of entrees and dessert.
Terrene Restaurant at 1 Hotel SF
This Valentine’s Day at Terrene Restaurant at 1 Hotel SF, enjoy the Grilled Oysters served with Pernod Cream, and Caviar. Starters include the Far West Fungi Mushrooms Brodo with Squash blossom, Iacopi cannellini beans or the House Made Burrata with Persimmon, Frilly mustard greens, and Pumpkin seed granola. For an entrée, guests can choose between the Liberty Duck Breast with Parsnip purée, Chanterelle mushrooms, sunchoke, and Black garlic jus or the Sablefish Filet served with Caviar beurre blanc, Grilled broccolini, Crispy shallot and Beluga Lentil. Dessert options include the Rose and Honey Crème Brulee with Candied hazelnuts and macerated blackberries or the Tahini Cardamom Panna Cotta with California citrus. The Valentine’s Day dinner is offered at $85 per person. Add fresh Périgord truffle: $15 per person/per dish and add wine pairing for $55 per person.
