I have put together a roundup of Valentine’s Day Chicago 2024 special offerings by restaurants, hotels and businesses. You can find some ideas for Valentine’s Day (or weekend) dinner below and I have included the menus whenever available.

This list is not exhaustive and I update the information becomes available. I try to feature as much as I can but certainly this is not all that is out there. If your favorite restaurant is not on the list, I would recommend contacting them to see what they are offering.

La Luna

Indulge in an intimate culinary experience with La Luna’s Valentine’s Dinner Specials, available exclusively on Friday, February 9; Saturday, February 10, and Wednesday, February 14. The restaurant opens at 4 PM.

After

Spend Valentine’s Day in After’s chic and sexy lounge. Chef Duffy is planning a special four-course menu for $125. Or you can opt to order à la carte from our lounge menu. After’s full cocktail, wine and spirits menu will be available for additional purchase that evening. For larger parties, book After’s semi-private Fireplace Room or private Observatory.  Reservation deposits are priced at $60 per person.

RPM Events

RPM Events is hosting a Valentine’s Day dining experience.  Enjoy a chef curated 5 course tasting menu in partnership with champagne house, Louis Roederer, featuring their marquee Champagne 2012 Cristal.  Priced at $185 per person.

They are also hosting a Galentine’s Day party on December 18 from 12 pm to 3 pm.  Enjoy lavish brunch stations, festive passed canapes & specialty cocktails! Experience a taste of our favorite women owned and operated partners; create and take home a floral bouquet, decorate cupcakes, get a permanent bracelet, and dance together to the sounds of Live DJ Megan Taylor. Priced at $105 per person.

Duck Sel

Duck Sel is offering a 7-course and a 15-course culinary experience on February 14.  Priced at $160 per person for the 7-course per person and $250 for the 15-course.  The dining experience is curated by Michelin starred chef, Donald Young. Enjoy contemporary American cuisine with a Midwest flair influenced by Donald’s upbringing in Chicago and time spent working in France. Modern meets classical techniques that focus on local & seasonal ingredients, preservation, and dry aging are woven throughout the experience.

Maman Zari

Maman Zari is offering an 8-course tasting menu for Valentine’s Day.  Priced at $85 per person, and reservation deposit is priced at $50 per person.  Optional wine pairings are available.

The Langham, Chicago

This Valentine’s Day, indulge in decadent, romantic cocktails while taking in stunning panoramic city views from Travelle Bar at The Langham, Chicago. Whether celebrating Galentine’s Day or enjoying a nightcap with a S/O, the limited-edition, love-inspired libations at one of Chicago’s best hotel bars are not to be missed.

Artfully crafted by Travelle Bar’s expert mixologist Joy Rivas, the three V-day cocktails are the perfect balance of sweet, spicy and refreshing:

  • Make My Heart: Rieger Gin, coconut rum, Pisco, lemon, Cocchi Americano, strawberry cinnamon syrup, garnished with white chocolate covered strawberry.
  • Skip A Beet: Beet-infused Vida Mezcal, Hibiscus, Yellow Chartreuse, lime, garnished with a slice of raw beet.
  • Love Story: Grapefruit Cordial, lime juice, pineapple, egg whites, berry soda, garnished with a raspberry dust rose petal.

This special menu will be available this February and reservations for Travelle Bar can be made via Tock.

Gaijin

Gaijin is offering a special 5-course tasting menu for Valentine’s Day.  Priced at $70 per person, and optional beverage pairings are priced at $35 per person.

  • oysters / yuzu mignonette
  • crispy brussels sprouts / miso orange ginger dressing / chili
  • pork belly charzuke / tare / roasted root vegetables / mushroom dashi
  • crab osaka-style okonomiyaki / sriracha kewpie / bonito

Maya Del Sol

Maya Del Sol is hosting their annual Valentine’s Day celebration on February 14.  Choose between their main dining room as well as the bar area.  Live acoustic latin Jazz will be performed by Guitara Azul from 7 pm to 9 pm.  They will be offering a prix-fixe menu as well as a la carte service.

Brickhouse

Brickhouse is offering Valentine’s Day drink specials.

80 Proof

80 Proof is offering Valentine’s Day Edition: Tipsy Tringo & Tacos.

Ranalli’s

Ranalli’s Lincoln Park and Ranalli’s West Loop have the following Valentine’s offerings:

North Pond Restaurant

North Pond will be serving a 7-course Valentine’s Day Chicago 2024 tasting menu for $190 per person.  Optional wine pairings are available at $80 per person.  

Elske

Elske is offering a tasting menu for Valentine’s Day Chicago 2024 for $150 per person.  They are able to accommodate vegetarian, pescatarian, nut-free, gluten free, dairy free, and shellfish free diets.  

Sepia

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Sepia this year. You and a loved one will enjoy a special menu crafted by Executive Chef Andrew Zimmerman and Chef de Cuisine Kyle Cottle. Finish dinner with a few sweet bits from Pastry Chef Erin Kobler. Wines will be specially selected by Wine Director Alex Ring.

Bistronomic

Bistronomic is offering a 3-course menu priced at $95 per person.  The menu features Ahi Tua Tartare, Mini comte ravioli & Porcini Mushroom, Baby Bib Lettuce, Goat Cheese Cream & Pomegranate, Veloute with Truffle Oil, the Salmon & Shrimp Gnnocchi, Beef Filet au Poivre, Braised Beef Short Ribs, Vegetarian Ravioli, and exquisite Duo of Chocolate Ganache Bars & Exotic Fruits Homemade Cheesecake.

Citrine Cafe

Citrine Cafe (Oak Park) is serving a prix-fixe menu  for $75 per person.

The Little Gem Restaurant

The Little Gem Restaurant (Oak Park) is serving a 5-course prix-fixe menu for $75 per person.

Brasserie by C&C

Brasserie by C&C is serving a special tasting menu on Valentine’s day for $67.50 per person.  The tasting will include: i.) Petite Kir Royal cocktail with the Lover’s Amuse, a crispy oyster and andouille remoulade; ii.) Warm Country Dill Loaf; iii.) a choice of: Red Rocket Risotto or a Ménage à trois Croquette; iv.) a choice of: Duck Confit or Lady Wrapped Pork Loin; v.) a choice of: Tonka Bean Custard; or Valrhona chocolate cream pie. 

HOLU

HOLU is pleased to announce a weekly opportunity to enjoy bottles of wine at rare pricing, launching on Valentine’s Day. Beginning Wednesday, February 14 and every Wednesday evening thereafter for a limited time, the modern Asian steakhouse – consistently named among the best in Chicago by Eater and The Infatuation and awarded three stars from the Chicago Tribune – will offer half-off bottles of wine across its entire portfolio.

Located in West Chinatown, HOLU features the world’s finest meat — including USDA Prime beef, dry aged in-house with Himalayan pink salt, as well as snow aged Japanese A5 Wagyu, Australian Wagyu, North American Wagyu and more. Complemented with sustainable seafood and organic vegetables, omakase-style menus are prepared on a smokeless, ceramic charcoal grill.

Moe’s Cantina River North

Join the fun at Moe’s Cantina River North’s Taco Thursday, February 15., 6 pm to 8 pm., enjoy a complimentary Mezcal Tasting. All night:  Bring a date or bring your Gal Pals, everyone will be celebrating with complimentary heart-shaped churros with heart sprinkles, strawberry compote and sweet crema for each table, and $10 Mezcal Cocktail specials like Get Lucky & Amor Prohibido to sip down with your delicious $4 taco deals. In addition to the $10 mezcal cocktail menu, there will be an additional specialty cocktail (not containing mezcal). This $16 specialty cocktail is called Cupid’s Arrow, a lime and hibiscus mojito. 

Lost Reef

Lost Reef is offering a 4-course menu with a glass of bubbles for $95 per person. 

Mercat a La Planxa

Mercat a La Planxa is serving a special dinner for two on Valentine’s Day.  Priced at $149 per person.

LIVA at Chicago Winery is offering a prix-fixe menu for $85 per person.

Osteria Via Stato

Osteria Via Stato is serving a special menu for $78 per person. Two optional wine pairings are priced at $34 and 54 per person.  This menu will be available on February 10 and 14.  

They are also hosting a Cello making class for $45 per person on February 10.

The Allis at SoHo House

The Allis at SoHo House is offering a 3-course menu for $55 per person.

HIDE + SEEK

HIDE + SEEK is taking reservations for Valentine’s Day dinner.  They will be serving their custom Valentine’s Day menu.

BLVD Steakhouse

BLVD Steakhouse is serving a 3-course menu for $125 per person.  Reservations are available for regular table seating or bar seating.

Francesca’s on Chestnut

Francesca’s on Chestnut is offering a special menu featuring Italian classics.

Venteux Brasserie, Cafe, & Oyster Bar

Venteux Brasserie, Cafe, & Oyster Bar is offering some Valentine’s Day specials in addition to their regular menu.

Nobu Chicago

Nobu Chicago is serving a special Omakase menu with complimentary glass of Champagne for $250 per person.

TAO Asian Bistro is taking reservations for Valentine’s Day celebrations.  They will be serving their a la carte menu with additional specialty items.  This special offering will be available from February 12 to 17.

Miru at The St. Regis

Miru at The St. Regis is hosting a Suki experience for Valentine’s Day on February 10 and 14.

Kumiko

Kumiko is hosting a tasting menu for $150 per person.

Fioretta

Fioretta is serving a 4-course prix-fixe menu for $125 per person.

Proxi

1st Course:

  • Thai-Style Beef Tartare: larb spice, quail’s egg, puffed beef tendon
  • Foie Gras Pot de Crème: Chai masala, satsuma, pine nuts, Steamed Filipino bread ($10 supplement)

2nd Course:

  • Wood Grilled Mushroom Tamale: poblano chile rajas, huitlacoche, cotija
  • Sea Scallop Motoyaki: ponzu aioli, togarashi
  • Lamb Kofta Kabob: tamarind-chili gastrique, ratia
  • Lobster Dumplings: lemongrass broth, roasted chili jam, Thai basil ($10 per person supplement)

3rd course:

  • Aged Rohan Duck Breast: mole coloradito, black beans, charred onion

mfk. restaurant is serving a 5-course tasting menu for $85 per person. Optional wine pairings are priced at $45 per person.

Houndstooth

Houndstooth (Benton Harbor) is serving a 6-course dinner menu for $165 per person.

Truluck’s

In addition to their regular menu, Truluck’s will offer two variations on a surf & turf in celebration of Valentine’s Day. From Saturday, February 10 through Thursday, February 15, customers can select from a mouth-watering 8 oz. filet mignon and cold-water lobster tail for $99, or a 16 oz. prime ribeye and 1/2-pound of prime king crab legs combo for $130. Both entrees will be served with parmesan mashed potatoes and asparagus and come with a béarnaise sauce. 

Throughout the entire month of February, sip on Truluck’s TRU Love Cocktail made with vodka, cava, Chambord, pineapple juice, raspberries and served over dry ice for a smokin’ hot effect. Lastly, enjoy a Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake made with Callebaut belgian chocolate mousse, chocolate cookie crust, chocolate sauce, luxardo cherries, & topped with chocolate shavings (available by the slice or whole cake).

Carrabba’s Italian Grill

Carrabba’s Italian Grill (Woodridge) is serving a 4-course menu for $65 per person.  This menu is available from February 8 to 18.

Kona Grill

Kona Grill (Oak Brook) is celebrating Valentine’s Day with some special offerings in addition to their All Day Menu.

CheSa’s Bistro & Bar

CheSa’s Bistro & Bar is serving a prix-fixe menu for $80 per person.

The Albert

The Albert is serving a 3-course prix-fixe menu for $65 per person or $75 with 1 glass of prosecco. This menu will be available from February 13 to 18.

The Albert is also offering a cooking class for couples on February 22 for $50 per person. Couples who cook together…make magic together! Join Chef Steve Chiappetti and mixologist Patrick Santchi for a romance-fueled, interactive cooking class that dives into easy, yet passionate dishes for couples, matched with the preparation of soulfully whimsical cocktails. Bond over creating together while enjoying bites and drinks showcased on the evening’s class menu.

Bronzeville Winery

Bronzeville Winery is offering an incredible Valentine’s Day pre-fixe menu option for those celebrating, from their acclaimed Chef Lamar Moore. For the Love of Jazz: A Valentine’s Day Candlelit Dinner will celebrate love, music, and culinary artistry with Moore’s incredible menu, along with an incredible Jazz soundtrack. Moore’s menu features indulgent and elegant preparations for the amuse bouche and all four courses, including a choice of three stellar entrees. Bronzeville Winery’s extensive wine list featuring 60% female and minority-owned winemakers, offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy your favorite varietals (and explore some new ones!) with each course. Available on Wednesday, February 14th from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m., the experience is priced at $125 per person. Reservations and the full menu are now available here.

Aboyer

Chef Lachowicz has created a luxurious three-course dinner menu for all those celebrating, featuring stunning French preparations and flavors. The menu includes Chilled Shrimp and Jumbo Lump Crab Cocktail with Tomato-Garlic Dijonnaise Dipping Sauce, Roast Filet of Beef Tenderloin and Truffle Mousse En Croute with Perigord Truffle Sauce, and a Classic Chocolate Soufflé with Raspberry Creme Anglaise. Reservations are now available for $88 per person.

FONDA Cantina

FONDA Cantina’s Chef Miguel Escobar has assembled an exciting menu filled with heritage Mexican preparations and authentic flavors. The menu includes dishes such as Mole Risotto, Trout Pibil, and more. The three-course pre-fixe menu is available for $49 per person. Kinzie Chophouse

Kinzie Chophouse, one of Chicago’s most iconic steakhouses known for its blending of classic steakhouse fare and Mediterranean influence, will offer an incredible 8-course tasting menu option for Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14th. The tasting menu is available for $150 per person, however the a la carte menu will also be available to those looking to celebrate at this special spot. Geja’s Cafe

Geja’s Cafe’s Valentine’s Day celebration, much like the restaurant itself, is legendary. Completely decked out for the occasion, it is truly one of the most romantic restaurant destinations in the city. Their annual Valentine’s Day celebration includes 3 seatings of their special dinner package for the holiday (4 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 9:00 p.m.). Diners will enjoy all three courses of their premier dinner (cheese fondue, entree fondue, and chocolate fondue), plus a glass of Pommeroy Rose for the occasion. Prairie Grass Cafe

Prairie Grass Cafe (Northbrook) is offering a Valentine’s Day special menu.

They are also offering a Pre-Valentine’s Day wine tasting on February 8 at 5 pm. Small bites menu is included. Priced at $98 per person.
