The dutchie, made famous by the Tim Hortons chain in Canada, is a square doughnut leavened with yeast and filled with raisins, then topped with a sweet glaze. Introduced in 1964 alongside the apple fritter, it has remained a staple on Tim Hortons’ doughnut menu until 2014. The company has announced a limited time return of the Dutchie starting January 2024.
