The Westgate Hotel, located in the heart of downtown, will celebrate San Diego Comic-Con with a Superhero Tea in the Grand Lobby.
Taking place Wednesday, July 19 – Sunday, July 23 from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m., comic fans can enjoy an afternoon tea experience complete with a selection of premium teas, house-made pastries, tea sandwiches and signature desserts along with a Comic-Con-themed cocktail menu and live music from a harpist.
Honoring comic heroes we know and love, the cocktail menu includes:
- Hulk Smash – made with vodka, coconut rum, trope sec and Midori, topped with fresh pineapple and cherries
- Black Widow – a combination of vodka, lime juice, muddled blackberries and pomegranate juice garnished with blackberries and rosemary
- Krypton Margarita – made with the guest’s choice of tequila or mezcal, lime juice, simple syrup and blue curacao, served with a Tajin rim and lemon wheel.
The Superhero Tea is $59 for adults and $35 for children ages 2-12 (plus tax and gratuity).
