The Corner Store, a new addition to SoHo from Catch Hospitality Group, has just opened its doors. Located at the corner of Houston Street and West Broadway (475 West Broadway), this American restaurant brings a nostalgic touch to classic dining. The Corner Store’s food menu is crafted by Culinary Director Michael Vignola and Executive Chef Paul Castro, who have both honed their skills at prestigious establishments like Catch New York and Nobu. Beverage Director Lucas Robinson, alongside Alexis Belton and Dev Johnson, has curated a unique martini-focused drinks menu.

The Team Behind The Corner Store
Catch Hospitality Group, led by Tilman Fertitta, Mark Birnbaum, and Eugene Remm, has evolved from a single New York restaurant into a national hospitality group, known for Catch and Catch Steak. Chef Michael Vignola, with a background from Le Bernardin and Aquavit, now oversees the culinary direction. Executive Chef Paul Castro brings experience from Starr Restaurants and Nobu, having previously been at Catch New York. The beverage team includes Lucas Robinson, Alexis Belton, and Dev Johnson, all known for their expertise in crafting exceptional drinks.
The Food
The Corner Store’s menu features playful spins on American classics. Starters include Spinach & Artichoke Dip with bechamel and aged cheese, Wagyu Pastrami Reuben on Orwasher’s Rye bread, and Five Cheese Pizza Rolls with spicy Calabrian chili hot honey. The Raw section highlights Dirty Martini Oysters and Filet Mignon Tartare. Salads include a unique Cucumber & Avocado with a sweet dill pepperoncini vinaigrette and The Corner Store Caesar with bagel croutons.

The Steak section features dishes like the Wagyu French Dip with prime rib, Steak Au Poivre with Allen Brothers NY Strip, and Disco Steak Frites with skirt steak and triple-blanched French fries. Entrees include Ricotta Ravioli with seasonal vegetables, Lobster Frites with Maine lobster, and Chicken Paillard with mustard-marinated chicken.

Desserts are equally tempting, with options such as Soft Serve Ice Cream Sundae with flavors like Cracker Jack, Vanilla Soft Serve topped with rainbow sprinkles, and Apple Hand Pie with a buttery crust and spiced caramel swirl.

The Design
Designed by Rockwell Group, The Corner Store features a warm, nostalgic ambiance. The space includes a grand 13-seat bar with a green onyx top and elegant wood panels, vintage-inspired dining areas with plush green seating, and a 50-seat enclosed patio adorned with lush greenery. The design captures the essence of classic New York dining with modern touches.
