This list is not exhaustive and I update the information becomes available. I try to feature as much as I can but certainly this is not all that is out there. If your favorite restaurant is not on the list, I would recommend contacting them to see what they are offering.

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in Oak Brook, Schaumburg and Vernon Hills are offering a prix-fixe Thanksgiving menu designed to bring traditional flavours to the holiday. Available for dine-in on Thursday, November 28, from 11 AM to 9 PM, this menu provides guests with a complete holiday feast.

  • Starter: Choice of Honey Crisp Apple Salad with dried cherries, walnuts, and maple syrup vinaigrette or Butternut Squash Soup
  • Main Course: Sliced, Smoked Turkey Breast served with Pan Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Almondine, Sausage & Sage Dressing, Cranberry Relish, and Homemade Bread ($49 per person)
  • Kids Entrée: Special Thanksgiving plate for $19
  • Dessert: Optional Pumpkin Cheesecake for $9

For those preferring to dine at home, Perry’s offers a Thanksgiving Dinner Pack To-Go for $109, featuring either Smoked Half Turkey or Sliced, Smoked Turkey Breast with classic sides like Au Gratin Potatoes, Creamed Spinach, and Three Cheese Mac & Cheese, plus Pumpkin Cheesecake. Two Fish Crab Shack

Two Fish Crab Shack in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighbourhood is hosting its 8th Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner for the community. This event, open to all on a first-come, first-served basis, celebrates connection and gratitude, featuring a generous spread of Thanksgiving and seafood dishes. The dinner will begin at Noon on Thursday, November 28 and continue until supplies run out.

The menu includes a mix of Two Fish Crab Shack favourites and traditional Thanksgiving fare:

  • Meat & Seafood: Roast turkey, turkey chops, pot roast, lamb chops, fried chicken, baked chicken, salmon, and crab legs
  • Sides: Mac & cheese, Cajun pasta, string beans with turkey, sweet potatoes, seafood dressing, greens with turkey, cornbread dressing, crab fried rice, turkey lasagna, and turkey mostaccioli

Community members can enjoy live music from DJ Tance, with an opportunity to connect and celebrate together.

Travelle at The Langham, Chicago

Travelle at The Langham, Chicago is offering two luxurious Thanksgiving dining experiences on Thursday, November 28. From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, guests can enjoy a lavish Thanksgiving Champagne Brunch Buffet for $265 per adult and $85 per child. The brunch features locally sourced charcuterie, cheeses, seafood platters, a carving station, sparkling champagne, and a selection of desserts.

In the evening, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, the Thanksgiving Cocktails and Dinner Buffet offers a family-style menu curated by Executive Chef Damion Henry. This dinner experience highlights inventive twists on traditional holiday fare, artisanal plates, indulgent desserts, and craft cocktails. Pricing is set at $265 per adult and $85 per child. Reservations for both events can be made via Tock.

Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse

Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse is offering a traditional three-course Thanksgiving dinner for $55 per adult and $25 per child. The menu includes lobster bisque, roasted turkey breast with house-made cranberry sauce, candied yams, green beans almondine, and seasonal stuffing, with pumpkin pie for dessert. The regular dinner menu will also be available. Reservations are available from 11 AM to 8:30 PM.

The Kitchen American Bistro

The Kitchen American Bistro is offering a Thanksgiving dinner for $99.50 per adult and $45.50 per child under 12. The meal features squash bisque or harvest salad, roasted turkey or autumn pot pie, and sides such as roasted leek and mushroom dressing, braised hominy, and mashed potatoes. Dessert includes a duo of pumpkin verrine and apple galette. Reservations are available from 12 PM to 8 PM.

Kona Grill

Kona Grill in Oak Brook invites guests to celebrate Thanksgiving with dine-in and takeout options. The menu features traditional roasted turkey with sautéed green beans, miso mashed potatoes, brioche stuffing, and ginger-yuzu cranberry sauce. For a unique twist, Kona offers the Macadamia Nut Turkey, which includes a macadamia nut-crusted turkey breast with shoyu cream sauce. Guests can complete their meal with pumpkin pie and a Pumpkin Spiced Old Fashioned. The Thanksgiving specials are available from November 28 to December 1. For those celebrating at home, Kona Grill offers a Thanksgiving to-go package, including two Macadamia Nut Turkeys, one Traditional Roasted Turkey, one kids’ roasted turkey, and a pumpkin pie.

River North Bistro

River North Bistro is offering a Thanksgiving buffet for $55 per adult and $25 for children under 12. The buffet features roasted turkey with bourbon & herb gravy, roasted salmon with pistachio gremolata, slow-cooked New York strip steak, and traditional holiday sides, as well as pumpkin pie. The buffet is available from 3 PM to 7 PM.

State and Lake Chicago Tavern

State and Lake Chicago Tavern is offering a Thanksgiving dining experience for $65 per person. The meal includes a salad bar with a seafood station, holiday classics such as roasted turkey, prime rib, and salmon, followed by a dessert table with pies, cobblers, and cookies. Reservations are available from 11 AM to 7:30 PM.

Grant Park Bistro

Grant Park Bistro is offering a Thanksgiving buffet for $55 per adult and $25 for children under 12. The buffet includes roasted turkey with bourbon & herb gravy, roasted fennel and turkey sausage stuffing, slow-cooked New York strip steak, and traditional sides, as well as pumpkin pie. The buffet is available from 3 PM to 7 PM.

Artango Bar & Steakhouse

Artango Bar & Steakhouse is offering a Thanksgiving dinner for $85 per person. The meal features festive dishes accompanied by live Brazilian jazz music. Reservations are available from 2 PM to 9 PM.

Prairie Grass Cafe’s Thanksgiving To-Go Options

Prairie Grass Cafe in Northbrook is offering a stress-free Thanksgiving To-Go experience for 2024, featuring a variety of à la carte options and a Thanksgiving Dinner Package for Two. Customers can choose from a wide selection of expertly prepared dishes, including Butternut Squash Soup, Organic Mixed Green Salad, Oven Roasted Turkey, and desserts such as Mom’s Pumpkin Pie and Double Chocolate Cake.

The Thanksgiving Dinner Package for Two is priced at $168 and includes traditional holiday dishes like mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, apple chestnut stuffing, and sweet potatoes with homemade marshmallow topping. Pickup is available on November 28 from 3 PM to 5 PM.

For larger gatherings, Prairie Grass Cafe is also offering Family-Style Takeout Dinners with options such as Whole Roasted Turkey (serves 10-14) for $240 and Half Roasted Turkey (serves 5-7) for $120. A variety of side dishes, including Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Chestnuts, are available to complete the meal.

RPM Seafood

Celebrate Thanksgiving at RPM Seafood on November 28 with a riverfront feast featuring classic holiday dishes, RPM favourites, and an array of sweets. The celebration includes a full wine list and bar offerings (beverages are available a la carte). The meal is priced at $145 per guest aged 13 and up, $65 for guests aged 5-12, and $5 for guests under 5.

Alpana

Celebrate Thanksgiving at Alpana on November 28 with a special three-course prix-fixe menu for $85 per person. Children’s meals are $28 each. The pricing does not include tax, beverages, or a 20% gratuity. Note that the regular menu and a la carte options will not be available, and reservations are required for parties of up to 8 guests.

Adorn Bar & Restaurant

This Thanksgiving, join Executive Chef Franco Diaz at Adorn Bar & Restaurant on November 28 for a festive Gobble and Gather experience. Enjoy a selection of dishes including Roasted Butternut Bisque, Slow Roasted Turkey, Herb Crusted Colorado Lamb Chops, and a Risotto Action Station. The Chilled Seafood Bar features Alaskan King Crab, Oysters, and Poached Lobster Tail. Finish with apple, pumpkin, and pecan pies. Celebrate with a warm and flavourful feast. Adults $265, Kids $85.

State and Lake Chicago Tavern

Celebrate Thanksgiving at State and Lake Chicago Tavern on November 28 with an all-you-can-eat experience for $65 per person. Start with a salad bar featuring seafood, composed salads, and charcuterie. Choose from classic holiday fare such as roasted turkey, prime rib, and salmon, and finish with a dessert table full of seasonal pies, cobblers, cookies, and cakes.

The Albert

Celebrate Thanksgiving at The Albert on November 28 with a festive brunch for $65 per person. Enjoy a buffet featuring robust antipasti, including roasted mint carrots, Sicilian mushrooms, and Italian cheeses. A 20-foot dessert table offers a variety of sweets. Choose a holiday entrée from options such as frittata, spiral ham, and cheese tortellini.

Bistronomic

Celebrate Thanksgiving with a French twist at Bistronomic on November 28 with a three-course menu for $85 per person. Start with options like Veloute of the Day or Artisanal Smoked Salmon Salad. Choose a main course from Roasted Farm Turkey Breast, Prime Beef Short Ribs, Catch of the Day, or Vegetarian Tortellini. Finish with dessert options including Traditional Thanksgiving Dessert, French Lemon Tart, or Chocolate Hazelnut Bars. A French Cheese Plate is available for an additional $30. Note that the regular menu will not be offered.

The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago

Enjoy a Thanksgiving feast at home with a meal prepared by the culinary experts at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago. The elegant meal includes herb oven-roasted turkey, hearty side dishes, and decadent desserts. Advanced orders are accepted until Saturday, November 23rd, with pickup available on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th, between 10am and 4pm. $360 per packaged.

Prime & Provisions Steakhouse is offering a Thanksgiving Grand Feast buffet for $105 per adult and $35 for children ages 7-12, with children under 6 dining for free. The buffet includes a carving station with prime rib and herb-roasted turkey, a raw bar, and traditional Thanksgiving sides. The à la carte menu will not be available. Reservations are available from 11 AM to 7 PM.

Fioretta

Fioretta is offering a four-course Thanksgiving tasting menu for $95 per person. The menu features traditional Thanksgiving entrées alongside Fioretta classics. A kids’ menu is available for guests 12 and under. Reservations are available from 2 PM to 8 PM.

River Roast

River Roast is offering a Thanksgiving buffet for $75 per adult and $35 for children under 6. The menu includes herb-brined turkey with gravy, house sausage stuffing, mac and cheese, crispy Brussels sprouts, and assorted mini sweets such as pumpkin pie. Reservations are available from 1 PM to 8 PM.

Somerset

Somerset is offering a festive Thanksgiving dinner for $125 per person, featuring live action entrée stations and buffet-style starters and sides. The menu includes a turkey carving station, chuck roast, quiche, mashed potatoes, green bean almondine, and an assortment of seasonal desserts. Prepaid reservations are required, and cancellations within three days will incur a $50 fee. Reservations are available from 3 PM to 9 PM.

HaiSous Vietnamese Kitchen

HaiSous Vietnamese Kitchen is offering a Thanksgiving at-home dining experience with a curated three-course menu featuring eight festive dishes. Guests can also pre-order Chef Thai’s holiday specialty, Beef Wellington, to complete the meal. The menu is available for pickup.

Marina’s Bistro and Rum Bar

Marina’s Bistro and Rum Bar is presenting a four-course Thanksgiving dinner for $100 per person, highlighting traditional Puerto Rican flavors in an elevated dining experience. The event will take place on Thursday, November 28, starting at 3 PM. The menu is crafted by Chef Eric Roldan.

Ditka’s Grill

Ditka’s Grill in Wheaton is offering a Thanksgiving Four-Course Feast featuring slow-roasted turkey with all the traditional fixings. Guests can also select from a variety of items on the à la carte menu.

Porkchop – Edgewater

Porkchop – Edgewater is offering smoked and fried turkey à la carte along with family-style sides for Thanksgiving. Guests can also order Thanksgiving dinner packages to-go starting at $89.99.

Shaw’s Crab House

Shaw’s Crab House is providing whole pies to-go for Thanksgiving, including year-long classics like Key Lime Pie, Raspberry Pie, and Chocolate Cake, as well as seasonal favorites like Dutch Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, and Pecan Pie. Each pie is priced at $50, and pickups are available on November 27 and 28.

Travelle at The Langham

Travelle at The Langham in Chicago is offering two special Thanksgiving dining experiences: a Champagne Brunch Buffet and a Dinner & Cocktails Buffet. Both events feature an innovative family-style menu highlighting the autumnal flavors of Thanksgiving. The offerings include locally sourced charcuterie and artisanal cheeses, seafood platters, a carving station, traditional Thanksgiving favorites, and a variety of delectable desserts.
