Steve’s Meltdown, the innovative culinary venture that transformed the humble grilled cheese into a St. Louis sensation, is thrilled to announce its grand opening at the City Foundry. Following its remarkable success as a ghost kitchen concept, the team at HuSTL Hospitality, which includes the beloved Steve’s Hot Dogs and The Fountain on Locust is ready to melt hearts and cheese with its first brick-and-mortar location.
Steve Ewing and Danni and Marcus Eickenhorst are the ownership team at the helm. The team came together in 2020 and formed HuSTL Hospitality Group in 2023 as they eyed new growth opportunities. Steve’s Meltdown was developed alongside their talented team Jeremy Robinson (Chief Growth Officer) and Joseph Zeable (Culinary Director), who helped to meticulously craft a menu that elevates the classic grilled cheese experience.
Patrons can look forward to gourmet grilled cheeses that ooze with creativity and scratch-made soups that promise to comfort and delight in equal measure. They team is also bringing a new spin on their award-winning french fries and mac & cheese from Steve’s Hot Dogs.
