The Starbucks Snowman cookie has been a festive offering for a few years now. According to the company, the cookie is “a hand-decorated, buttery shortbread cookie topped with white chocolate icing and milk chocolate earmuffs.”
Taste test
I thought that the shortbread cookie was reasonably buttery and crumbly, and noticeably not very sweet. The sweetness comes from the melted white chocolate icing which is denser and seems much sweeter than traditional royal icing. I personally would recommend a pairing with a beverage that has less sweetness (ie, less syrup).
Price
The cookie is priced at $2.65 at my local Starbucks in Vancouver.

Overall Impression
I liked the presentation of the cookie but the melted white chocolate is a bit too rich for me. Rating: 3/5
