Uchi Miami
Wynwood’s Uchi is the art district’s go-to destination for elevated Japanese cuisine. Its all-new happy hour, launched just in time for summer, features floral and fruity cocktails, plus discounted hot and cool tastings, temaki, okashi, nigiri and an eight-course omakase tasting from the skilled sushi chefs. Delight in the chilled Suzuki Crudo ($14.50), with striped bass, tomato zu and toasted bread furikake; Walu Walu ($9.50), with oak-grilled escolar, candied citrus and yuzupon; and Suika Temaki ($9), with watermelon, mint and yuzu kosho aioli. Pair with 50% off all bubbles, $8 wine glasses, $10 Highball, $7 Monopolio beer and $9 Tsukinowa sake. Happy hour is available daily from 5-6:30 p.m.
ADRIFT Mare
ADRIFT Mare is a Mediterranean oasis nestled within the elegant confines of Hotel AKA Brickell in Miami. Crafted under the guidance of Michelin-starred “Gypsy Chef” David Myers, this culinary sanctuary graces the hotel’s 25th floor, offering captivating views of Biscayne Bay. From 5-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, ADRIFT Mare welcomes guests to a Sunset Lounge Happy Hour featuring $12 craft cocktails, $8 beers, $12-$14 wines by the glass, and $4-$10 snacks and bites. Sip the summery Strawberry Kush, made with vodka, strawberries, shiso, sichuan and sparkling water, or La Tropical beer, a Vienna-style lager from Key West. Guests can snack like they’re on the Greek Isles or Italian Coast with the Mezze Plate ($8), served with olives, hummus, fava spread, grissini and aged cheese; Mortadella & Rosemary Focaccia ($8); or Grilled King Prawns with Espelette Pepper Oil ($10).
Arlo Wynwood
Higher Ground at Arlo Wynwood is Wynwood’s go-to bar for affordable American eats, beers and cocktails set in a lush, foliage-framed courtyard on the boutique hotel’s third floor. With scenic views of Wynwood, the indoor-outdoor oasis is a quaint spot to hang out with the crew in a friendly ambiance. Come for Lucky Hour, Thursday through Saturday from 5-7:30 p.m., for $5 beers, $10 specialty cocktails, $8 wines by the glass, and the Happy Meal ($12), a cheese pizza and draft beer combo. Downstairs, the Lobby Bar serves up its own Lucky Hour from 4-7 p.m. daily, featuring the Lobby Bar Happy Meal ($12) with truffle fries, Arlo’s signature fortune cookie and the Peachy Pride cocktail, made with Tito’s vodka, Blue Curaçao, lime and Red Bull Yellow Edition. The Canvas Bar, Edgewater’s premier hangout haven, is a one-stop-shop for quality comfort cuisine, creative cocktails and vintage arcade games. The hotel has introduced a new happy hour, available at the lobby bar, Monday through Thursday from 5-7 p.m. For $10 each, guests can enjoy dishes such as the Manakish Flatbread, made with za’atar, tomato, labneh and olives; Local Fish Crudo, topped with grapefruit, fresh herbs and lemon vinaigrette; Zaatar and Pita, seasoned with Syrian oregano and extra-virgin olive oil; and the sweet Labneh Cheesecake, with candied walnuts and fresh berries. Casa Sensei brilliantly blends traditional Latin American cuisine with Pan-Asian staples to create the best of both worlds.
